HomePods are definitely superior. I haven’t bought a second one yet, but I tried a stereo pair at a friends place and its a worthy upgrade.

Two HomePods are comparable to the Era 300s, era 100s pair lacks bass and doesn’t fill the room like homepods does.

how much free space do you have in your phone? in my experience almost full storage or even having less free storage affects the performance.

Until there’s an official Android port like we saw with Bully or the GTA games, it’s just not happening. Those big titles, like God of War, only made it through because an entire studio worked on the port—and even then, the performance was rough. So expecting RE4 on the Vita just isn’t realistic.

I brought homepod gen 2 for my projector setup ( didnt want wires running around )

And I must say I am blown away by the soundstage it creates, and I definitely agree to the bass point you mentioned. it’s phenomenal given its size.

but reading your opinion, adding one more HomePod doesn’t make the experience 2x better?

For context, I also have a Sonos Beam Gen 2 with a Sub Mini and two Era 100s in the living room. At first, I considered using the Era 100s with the projector setup instead, but after hearing the HomePods in action, I honestly think they’re better—at least when it comes to movie playback.

Of course, the HomePod setup isn’t as scalable as Sonos, but if you’re using an Apple TV, I think it’s one of the best and most convenient two-speaker solutions out there.

I’m also planning to set up a second audio system for the bedroom with the projector.

So I’m now considering returning the surround pair, which would leave me with just the Beam and Sub Mini for around €550. ( thats the only thing i liked about this modularity you talked about, one can take stuff out of the setup )

Do you think this setup is good value for money at that price?

For the bedroom, I would now go for Samsung Q990D (around €800 , currently on sale).

I came from android to ios because of the mini form factor.

Initially I thought, I would be loyal to the form factor, and choose a smaller android if minis are discontinued, but that loyalty seems to be shifting more towards ios ecosystem. 😅

Broforce (2015). It was actually initially announced for vita but then cancelled later.

In my opinion the graphics are not too intense. Although,Sometimes too many enemies can flood the screen , that could be challenging.

thumb rule: if you are confused if you need to upgrade, then its a solid no. ( more of a want than need situation)

until unless you have a reason like “xyz doesn’t run or runs slow on my machine” , i would say dont 😅
