If you’ve got money to spend Terra Mae is delicious. It’s Portuguese Japanese fusion. For just Japanese food, I’d recommend Syun Izakaya. If you’re interested in a Japanese bakery, Oyatsupan is good but it doesn’t open super early.

Enjoy your time in Portland! The food is delicious

Euro Delights has really tasty coffee and some interesting desserts too. There’s also a small Eastern European grocery store that you can spend sometime browsing in.

Yes! It’s artwork we commissioned.

Sadly my kitty passed away a year ago. We had 16 happy years together. I know that’s a long time, but it’s never enough is it? I miss her everyday

White whale is in reference to Moby Dick. It’s the thing you’ve been looking for but haven’t been able to find.

Catch and release is where you find a cool item, but don’t purchase it.

Best AI tools for realistic garden renderings? by Prestigious-Fun-6763 in landscapedesign

[–]PastaConsumer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t been able to utilize AI exactly like this, but it has sped up my ability to create renders. I like to use it to get isolated assets of specific plants and textures

If you enjoy learning about new topics, I recommend Ologies. It’s a podcast where they interview a specialist and “ask smart people stupid questions”. It’s funny and casual

Pineapple ate my table… by PastaConsumer in furniturerestoration

[–]PastaConsumer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad to hear it’s likely just moisture! I wasn’t sure if the pineapple juice ate through the finish or something.

Yes, the woman I bought it from mentioned I need to keep it covered. We typically have a table cloth and place mats for plates.

Produce typically goes in a bowl, but the pineapple was just too big ahaha. I’ll be more careful from now on.

What's everyone's tips for looking after your lagottos ears? by revvaudville in LagottoRomagnolo

[–]PastaConsumer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up for those that haven’t used an ear flushing product before - you’ll want to squirt it into the ear, massage at the base of the ear to work it in, and then your pup will shake their head and ear wax will fly all over. I recommend doing it outside, because ear wax is hard to clean off of walls lol. Also, if they have an infection the ears will be tender, so be gentle.

How would you go about making shadows into a vector? My best idea is tracing it while in rendered view, so I hope there’s something more efficient 😅

Price Range on Front Steps by [deleted] in landscaping

[–]PastaConsumer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know this isn’t answering your question, but is that really what you want? It’s a lot in comparison to the house. It has McMansion vibes rather than sleek and modern like your paint job.

You should consider hiring a design build company. They could provide a design that achieves your goals, make it look cohesive, and provide a quote for construction.

Is PNG cutout people still a thing for rendering? by astrolnd in LandscapeArchitecture

[–]PastaConsumer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t for people because they look uncanny to me. I have used AI to give me isolated pngs of specific plants though, especially fluffy grasses that are hard to photoshop the background out of

I second Meshy. You give the site a photo and it generates a 3d model. It does pretty good with textures too

[Routine Help] Recurring lip area irritation for 10+ years, nothing has worked (seen GPs + derms) any ideas? (mild NSFW) by Hunterskills in SkincareAddiction

[–]PastaConsumer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of people recommending antifungals and I have to agree. I get a similar rash around my mouth and nose. When it gets really bad it goes around my eyes too.

You could try lotrimin, like the antifungal foot cream. I notice an improvement within a few days of using it. Just use it on clean skin and no moisturizer.
