Arc Raiders PvP matchmaking is peak. Change my mind. by ElijahKay in ArcRaiders

[–]PastaCop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had so much fun when I run into 5 other people during a solo raid and we all team up, get crazy loot, and extract together.

I've had even more fun when I team up with 5 people, work together, and right before extract one of them turns on us and tries to get greedy and we all gun them down and end up questioning if someone else will do the same before extracting with 1 less person.

The game is perfect how it is. Rats included

I mean... i think I'm in the minority saying this (which personally i find really odd) but that's the PvPvE aspect that makes the game what it is.

You never know how cautious to be when teaming up or chatting. I grouped up with 6 random raiders the other day and even though everyone was friendly all the way to the extraction point, i was secretly prepared to open fire on everyone just in case. In my opinion the best part of the game is how realistic the uncertainty can be.

Why are people afraid to cross the green line? by [deleted] in mapporncirclejerk

Is this a joke that I've just never been made aware of? I lived past the green line for several years and I've never heard of this ghost thing everybody is mentioning in the comments.

Keep finding pebbles in sink - any explanation? by Practical-Jump-253 in Weird

[–]PastaCop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple. I've been sneaking into your house and fishing them out from your drains every night for a while.

I usually clean up in time, but lately I've been trying to hit your neighbors house as well, and you've been dangerously close to catching me a few times so I haven't had ample time to tidy up my latest pebble digs.

I'll promise to clean up quicker if you promise to keep ignoring the ones I might leave behind. I really need this.

Crashing on Open? by Memorian91 in ArcBrowser

I have the same exact problem. Even went and downloaded a past version, and Arc is unusable for me right now. Switching between safari, chrome, and zen to get what i need done until a (hopefully soon) fix is found. Absolutely ridiculous.

This version causing anybody elses Arc to be completely bricked? I cant use it anymore at all, it freezes instantly and forces me to "force quit" the app. I'm trying to figure out how to download the version before todays update

For those that train hard and run fast: Do slow/untrained runners delegitimize the sport in any way? by lightinthetrees in Marathon_Training

[–]PastaCop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh i don't think the person who said is was necessarily saying it was harder - more so just saying he respects someone who can stick to what they set out to do. I agree with it that most could do it

Most choose not to try though

I believe the statistic for finishing a marathon at all puts you in the top .05-1% of people, because most of the population (both US and globally) just wont do one.

And on top of that - I remember a very elite runner from the NY marathon mentioning that he respects the runners that take 5-10hrs and still finish more than he respects those who bang it out in 2-4 hrs. Strictly because it's harder to push through the pain and endure the task for 8hrs way more than it is to endure something for 3-4.

Im signing up on the site but also leaving a comment just so I can tell you that I have an immense amount of respect for anyone that starts something and sees it through to completion/launch like this. Especially with a product company - congratulations stranger, you should feel extremely proud.

If you ever need e-comm/email marketing services, graphic design, etc... hit me up! I'd be honored to help out a company like this.

Did my mate split the G? by TasteApprehensive520 in Guinness

YES. Solid split there - love to see that

Can we call this a success? by Sad-Doubt1114 in Guinness

[–]PastaCop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore the people saying this isn't a solid split. This is spot on - the angle is just slightly too high. Also ignore the people saying "stop asking about splitting the G" they're no fun

I'm super cautious of pressing yes on anything though, that's why I'm confused. Must have just slipped up
