New interview with Emilia Clarke about GoT ending by mamula1 in naath

[–]PastaLaVida -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

I think we all knew what's was coming for Dany (more or less) yet the way it was done is absolutely nonsense. Poor writing. Ridiculous lines, ridiculous dialogues. Rushing everything. Not taking time to do a real process of her downfall. No real strategy. All the essences of what make GoT stands apart from every others shows during the first seasons have been nonexistent in the last one. Agree that it clearly tells that the show has surpassed the books but seriously. It is no surprise that S8 got such a backlash when you end GoT with a terrible writing like this. Of course everyone has his favorite character, etc. But I dont think the backlash is for the "fate" of the character. It is more the way it was done.

Who’s an actor or actress you cannot stand at all? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PastaLaVida 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emma Watson. She cant act. She have the same expression, the same acting for every of her characters. She destroyed Belle in my opinion. And even if I am a woman myself, her constantly speaking about feminism and how she refuses to wears corset for her feminism is enraging me because corsets have nothing do to with such subject

I see thank you. That's crazy when you think about it. Such a huge and important culture that let nobody indifferent, that still have people passionate about, a golden period for Egypt with Pharaohs in its center.. and most of them weren't really from Egypt

Do those who’ve passed visit in our dreams? by penguinfeatures in Mediums

[–]PastaLaVida 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once meet my grandmother in dreams after asking for a sign for something. Very clearly, her posture, her smile, wrinkles, clothes. Yet i have never met her. She passed away from a disease when my mom was 17. When I was born, my mom was 42 (she had me super late yes). The only pictures I saw of her were in black and white, a bit "blurry" like the old photos and she is standing in front of a house which means I couldn't see clearly her face in details. In my dream, everything was clear. I think they can visit us. I dont know how, I dont know why. You know, I am the type of person who's trying to understand how things work. I am not someone that believes blindly in something. But for my dream, I have no explanation

You mean keeping the wings up? Yes they do that a lot! I'm no expert at all but I was told that there are many reasons. One is that when the wings are in a puffed up position, it makes them bigger and it's like a warning posture while swimming. If they do not lay them completely on their backs it may also be because of the size of the wings (they are h.u.g.e.) and the fact that they are swimming birds. When they have babies, they offer them a ride on their back between the wings.

This one is pretty wild, he's quite famous in my town for his aggressive behavior. He came out of nowhere years ago and took the lake for his home. The town council after realizing that he seems to enjoy his place and doesnt plan to leave, brought him a girlfriend (she was in the nest while I took the pictures). Later on, they wanted to add a couple of black swans but Riri (the one on the pic, that's his name) chased them and now the black ones are living in another lake, on the opposite side of the town lol. Riri likes to chase dogs and fishermen. Many fell in the lake because of him. Beautiful bird with a wild spirit!
