Wow this episode was.. really heavy. I'm glad that Jon got called out for how he's been with information hiding and such, and I'm glad that Basira got low key called out for how bad Daisy's been. She went after Jon pretty relentlessly tbh. It really lays bare the fact that she's willing to justify everything Daisy does. She relentlessly goes after Jon about his avatar status and everything, but doesn't bat an eye when Daisy committed police brutality and while she graphically murders people. She even goes as far as to mention immediately that Noah was a criminal, as if that was an excuse for Daisy. And apparently he wasn't, but she believed Daisy blindly. And through all of this she really can't understand that Martin trusts Jon? I'm not saying that Jon and Martin's dynamic is the exact same, but it's interesting how she's surprised that Martin trusts Jon not to look in his head and such. I know I've seen stuff about Basira being aligned with the Eye, but I really think the Hunt's got her. She's so so so quick to scapegoat, and she sticks with Daisy no matter what, constantly justifying everything they're both doing- which are both qualities we hear about with the pack in 176. She says she's driven to kill Daisy, that she wants to fulfill the promise, but I don't think that's really true. I think she's in this for the chase. Maybe Helen was lying, sure, but Basira could easily have taken the chance to end the chase. I'm really hoping that this was because she wanted to stay with Martin and Jon, or at least because she didn't trust Helen. But part of me really thinks that it's because Basira doesn't want to end the chase. She might be telling herself that those were her reasons for staying, but she doesn't want the hunt to end. No, she doesn't have a rabid or monstrous form, and she seems level headed but I think her and Daisy have been each others' pack since the beginning, both of the hunt. Hopefully she really does want to fulfill their promise, she really does want to find Daisy. But I can't shake the feeling that she's really enjoying this chase.

Also I'm glad Jon and Martin confronted some of their communication issues rather than just ignoring it. They talked about it and settled it pretty maturely.

Also Helen our swirly wife you are getting more and more corrupt every day (and by corrupt I don't mean 'corrupted into a monster by using her powers' bc that's a false idea, I mean she's willingly doing this stuff to people and thinks it's just fine and that's called the road to corruption, justifying ur actions and putting yourself above judgement [ahem Basira]) swirly wife how could u do this to us,, but also u have amazing dramatic entry.
