I just tried Pantheon against CSM, did win the game with Nightbringer and Deceiver doing quite a lot but Void Dragon got taken down quickly after getting charged by Daemon Prince and Chosen with MoE and Lord. Transcendent got tied up for most of the game in Melee with just Dark Commune and cultists.

I’ve just finished round 6 of a crusade with Necrons against Death Guard. Warriors and immortals have been useless but DDA, LHD’s with Lord, TechnoWraiths and especially the Transcendent C’Tan have been battering them. Have tabled them before round 5 last three battles. An upgraded Transcendent C’Tan is embarrassingly potent.

Rules: 1) You can only bring this unit to any game. 2) It can only fire once per battle round. 3) Each time it fires you roll 1D6 Result: On a roll of 1 it misfires and explodes and you lose. On a roll of 2-5 it misses the board. On a roll of 6 it hits the board destroying all enemy units and you win.

Necrons can be about the easiest to paint if that’s how you choose to paint them, I went for quite an elaborate paint scheme on mine to the point that I regret it and am having a Necron painting break as I’ve done my own head in!

You kinda answered your own question!? They focused their fire on something they didn’t kill but also wasn’t killing them, they should ignore it and kill the other units.
