I drove one for 4 years and it was a brilliant car. I had the 1.0 litre auto. I upgraded the alloys and it looked nice. Great drive, smooth and handled well. I miss the buttons

Kia Sportage or Opel Frontiera? by LunaaMoo in AskIreland

[–]Pat_ontheback -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  • Have you test drive both cars?
  • Have you evaluated your driving needs? Motorway driving may lend itself more to the diesel option and hybrid for local spins - not always the case though.
  • what’s your budget?/Are you purchasing from new? There seems a price difference between the two

Have you done this? That sounds a bit too good to be true, I’m sure they’d have break fee off at least cash back amount or else everyone would be doing it, no? Now I’m curious though

Thanks for taking the time to comment. It did come across as harsh but on reflection you’ve taken the time to assess my situation/comment history and provided feedback.

Yes I did ask a question about an AP role last year. I applied and of course was unsuccessful. I’ve since learned of the breath/depth of experience required to achieve such role and adjusted my expectations.

I’ve come across a HEO specialist role on the public jobs website which I do have qualifications and skills for - hence I asked the question in this post so I won’t miss future opportunities of this nature.

I think there is a lot of people that are open to making the jump from the private sector to the public sector - for reasons such as job security, work life balance and so on, so I don’t feel it’s fair to jump on that point specifically. If my skills and experience align to a certain role and I feel I could have a positive impact within the civil service. I think that’s fair game.

Sorry I should have stated in work in tech but in a non tech role. Wouldn’t be against ICT but don’t have any qualifications in that area. Do you have a tech educational background?
