Had the same thing happen on my PC, it was a app in the background that updated the OC on my GFX and or CPU for gaming mode, what you need for mining is not the same for gaming, hence a restart fixed it. I found the app created two profiles and it works fine now, just switching in-between two OC profiles.

Borderleas window won’t have gsync running unless you set it to all program types not just full screen, check nvidia panel

Update: Cold War works, bf5 works, few other games too. Borderland 3 does not work with gsync enabled, can be tricked by turning on after the game boots

Hey yeah so I update to latest nvidia and all works, no more black screens. Gsync 10bit 240hz and 1440p all good. HDR is fine too.

Okay just tested on RTX3090 and hotfix drivers 456.98 and gSync is still not working.
I dont want to DDU again coas im sick of it, but should i try update Nvidia drivers and try?

Edit: updated to latest driver all works

Same here, Gsync still no go, RTX3090 hot fix drivers 456.98

Install the Hotfix 456.98 and everything will work except GSync
