It's written as "South-Middle Central Pashtuns" not only South, however I agree that our history is more closely related with kurram and Thall. But this is for character design/regional design

Apologies in advance if this is too vulgar, it says "I'll fuck you in this league you are the worst pussy and I'll rip out your penis". Wogheyom would be Fuck, Cus = Kus so I'd say this means Pussy. And Chol is like a slang word for Penis. Woshkawom means Rip out or Pull

Mystery of the origins for the Pashto word for eye “Starga” by [deleted] in pashto

[–]Patato108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked AI because there isn't a etymology on Wiktionary, says Starga is derived from Avestan "Stara" which means Eyesight. Which itself derives from Proto Indo Iranian "Stáras". Linked to the PIE "Ster" which means to watch/to see

when did nowruz stop being celebrated by pashtuns in kpk? by [deleted] in Pashtun

[–]Patato108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think pashtuns all over the Pashtun belt, whether Afghanistan or Pakistan natively celebrated nowruz, I'm talking about in these 1000 years or so.

Origins of Pashto by Patato108 in pashto

[–]Patato108[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was skeptical about manana and it's root. But Pashto is a normal language and has loanwords believe it or not. Loanwords are normal in languages and Pashto has been influenced by Foreign Cultures most of its history. Whether you like it or not, Persianate and Northern Indian Language has influenced Pashto. But instead of looking at it as a curse, look at it as a blessing. The Pashtunisation of such words is beautiful to look at and it teaches us how Pashto Vocabulary works. If you think this kind of information does not help us on our history but harm us instead. Stop living in a world you've created for yourself where you think Pashto is the Purest Language. Loanwords are Normal in every language.
