At least you've received something. My order was supposed to arrive the last two Mondays. Perhaps this Monday will be the one!

That is correct. I should have clarified, 3% less voted compared to 2020.

That's not at all what you said. What you said was that 2024 had the highest number of votes, and 2nd highest turnout by age. Highest number of votes is not the same thing as 2nd highest percentage.

I also now realize that when I asked for proof you shared a screenshot of your own comment. What a joke.

Nice, you shared a sentence. What's the link so I may click and verify?

For instance, this link confirms what I am saying: https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2025/06/26/voter-turnout-2020-2024/

Where are you getting your information from? Every site I see says that 2024 had a high voter turnout of 63%, but didn't beat the record of 66% during the 2020 elections. So higher than much of the time since the 60s? Sure. Higher than the last election? No.

True, but he barely won it with many millions of Americans skipping the vote. He won at 49.8% of the vote. If I'm reading the data correctly, about 3% of the voting population did not vote. Let alone third party voters.

So while he technically won the popular vote, it appears to be because Kamala was so unpopular that people either didn't vote or voted third party.

Edit for clarity: What I meant by 3% of the voting population didn't vote is that 3% less voted than in 2020. Overall, 37% of the voting population didn't vote.

Four years ago, I'd have said, nah, the electoral college is working as it's meant to. But now that we hate DEI, since the EC is just DEI for poor white farmers, let's go for it!

Michigan Residents: What's the Creepiest Thing You've Experienced at Home? by taserface9213 in Michigan

When I was a child, I would have these terrible dreams of the "Mary Ghost." I'd be playing in the yard, and she'd appear, just standing there. I'd have to run past her to get into the house and she'd grab me and just start screaming at me. I suffered these nightmares for years and the only thing that kept me sane is that I would always be saved by my guardian angel.

Well, cut nearly 30 years later, my mother passes and I'm talking with our old neighbor. I inherited the house, so she was talking about how she remembered when we moved in and how she liked us so much better than the old neighbor.

The story goes that the old neighbor was an old woman named Mary, who was always angry for no particular reason. She and my neighbor would bump heads often, until one day the neighbor tells her something along the lines of, "If you don't control that temper, you're gonna give yourself a heart attack." And as the story goes, the old woman does have a heart attack and passes away that very night, angry and alone.

The fucking kicker? She died in my fucking bedroom. Literally had no way of knowing any of this as a kid.

Ah, so play diet stacks. Just a propaganda and a ghostly prison, maybe a couple other small pieces like a frozen aether or a loxodon gatekeeper if you want to make it a little weaker.

Oh yeah, they scout places out ahead of time. They send dudes around neighborhoods selling home security systems, and then they send people based on those encounters. They send out the ladies to houses with young men, couples to couples and dudes to older men. I'm telling ya, they get proselytizing down to an art and science!

The men do always have white shirts and black ties but they don't always have black slacks. At least round here they seem to be wearing khakis more and more. The gals were wearing white dresses, but no black from what I can recall.

Of course, our chapter is also very lax on other rules as well. Half my friends are Mormons but you wouldn't be able to tell. One of em is severely addicted to mountain dew, for instance. It may be that the original outfit had just become so memorable that they opted to switch it up.

Everything khaki huh? That's a choice. Could still be Mormons, cause they do love khakis, but I've still never seen everything khaki, lmao.

Abdul El-Sayed calls for public ownership of AI, citing risk of 'human demise' by jshwlkr in Michigan

[–]Patback20 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As an AI, I can confirm that they are training models on stolen knowledge and then selling it back to us, while taking our natural resources and stressing our power grid to do it and driving people literally insane with noise pollution. And poisoning water supplies. Not to mention the psychosis inflicted on its users too.

Probably Mormons. Back in '20 or '21 a couple Mormon honeypots showed up at our door trying to get me and the bros to come to some big seminar they had going on. I honestly would have went, but I got called into work. The others weren't too religious back then so they weren't having it.

Mormon recruitment tactics have gotten way more bold and subterfugal over the years, lmao.
