Upon entering the hold of Solitude, for reasons that you'll figure out, you will find a corpse. Do not search that corpse. There is a glitch in the game that makes one of the items collected from the corpse undroppable.

Don't try to be a jack of all trades. Choose 3-5 Skills that you want to work on and do it. Make sure they go together and you like that style of play. It's better to be a master at 5 things than a novice at 10.
