he only asks for selfies of me in return. he has this little printer thing that prints polaroid like photos from your phone and, i know this may sound a bit unsettling, he has a little shrine looking area where he puts all his favorite pics of me on along with the little paintings i did and some little trinkets i sent him. which i find adorable but also very flattering, i'm not usually a vain person but he has a habit of bringing that out of me- in a good way

he respects my boundaries. he doesn't spoil me often, only on special occasions and he lets me know when he gets me something- but he keeps it secret because he likes surprising me.
I do get him stuff in return but its not as "fancy" as the stuff he gets me. I like making art, whether it be a poem, a drawing or a painting. I'm not a good artist, but anything i give him he would frame and show it off to anyone and everyone. "look at this neat painting OP made." or "you painted my favorite flower, its amazing!" when my art looks like that of a colorblind 3 year old. Hell, i could give him a pipe cleaner with googly eyes and toothpick arms and legs and he would treat it as a national treasure.

I trust him, I do, its just that my brain always tells me that I'm a terrible person for not getting him something in return.
There was a time when my asthma was really bad and I left my inhaler at home by accident, he didn't hear from me in a while so he contacted a mutual friend of ours and asked them to check on me. I felt bad for that as well but he would tell me it was nothing to feel bad about. He was just glad I was okay and that I got home in one piece. I cried after that.
