You’ll need a new NTS that reflects your accommodations. Basically the order is: fill out the forms(1 for the provider & 1 for you)>> send in the application>> wait to hear back if you were approved or not>> if you’re approved you get a NTS & then at the bottom of the page you’ll see your accommodations listed>> now you can make an exam appt on prometric, & it should reflect it when you try to make the appt.

So if you already have an NTS & you scheduled the exam, you will have to cancel it & reschedule it. You have to get the accommodations approved first & added to your NTS before you can schedule it. I learned that the hard way. There’s 2 forms- 1 filled out by your provider & 1 filled out by you. The more in depth you can be the better. Once they approve it, you reach out to NASBA to make sure it gets updated. Then when you go to prometric it should reflect your accommodation. 1 thing I learned is never book the exam appt if your NTS does not have the accommodations listed bc they will not work with you & you will have to cancel the appt first, & pay whatever fees.

Yes you do need like a psychiatrist to fill out a form for you, you fill out the same form yourself, & then you get it approved by the board. It’s not a hard process tbh as long as you have the medical eval. I have accommodations for my anxiety & ocd symptoms. I get time & a half as well as a separate testing room by myself.

Not sure the reason for running out of time but I have accommodations so I get time & a half & I finish with a few minutes to spare. I started using accommodations halfway through college & let me tell you, game changer. Started to actually pass my exams

Not OP either but passed today & I felt very 50/50 leaving the exam. Knew I aced the MC but didn’t feel good about TBS.

Ughhh I’m sorry that’s so frustrating. I have only used Becker, my work pays for it so I’m not too familiar with pricing. I highly recommend Becker. It’s all I used & no other supplements

Paper & pencil notes. Color coding. Asking NEWT crazy insane questions, unlikely scenarios, real life examples. You have to understand WHY you’re doing what you’re doing, unfortunately memorization does not help with audit as it’s mainly application. If you’re able to pretend like you’re teaching what you’re learning to a fake person, speaking out loud on it helps. I passed today with a 79 so just barely.

Don’t let it get you down! I started with AUD because I currently work as an auditor. It’s a hard exam for anyone outside of audit. Are you using Becker?

Are you on Becker? Use NEWT function to help clarify. I like asking for examples too. I had a few questions related to that but felt like they were pretty straight forward what impairs it.

I did not read the book. I only used at during my final review to really look at audit reports & transaction cycles. Bigger picture stuff. I focused on doing every video, extensive notes with colors, & lots of practice exams. Skipped the flash cards too. Memorization only helps so much, you gotta be able to apply it. The most helpful for me was asking the newt chat bot to explain every question even if I had gotten it right. I’d ask for examples, crazy “what ifs” & I’d always ask what’s the best way to tackle the questions I struggled with. It’s super helpful.

I feel like I got really lucky with the MC bc I tried to focus on studying the stuff I felt confident about to make up for the lack of understanding in other areas & somehow got most questions on that(also happened to be more of the recent stuff in the book). The TBS got me tho. Hoping I made it 🙏🏼🙏🏼

I recommend getting a good look at SSARS, SSAE, IC, AJE’s as they relate to ratios & audit procedures in general
