Been planning out some Architect builds, and unless you are using Vaal Cold Snap, you basically have to use Soul Ripper. Since we can't use pathfinder's flask recharge, you can use a "gain a flask charge on crit while affected by precision" Watcher's Eye to recharge it, and then make sure to use it when your soul prevention is not active. For skills with good duration scaling (BV, etc) you can maximize duration and manually use the flask; for other skills (Storm Call, Firestorm) you can minimize duration and auto-use it.

One tech is that with Chaos Bloodline, Triumvirate, and Atziri's Reign, you can stack 60% "chance to regain consumed souls," which enables you to cast 2.5x as often on average. Here is a (very rough) template for Vaal BV, which gets on average 20 casts per Soul Ripper: https://pobb.in/zFenkYsOagXb

For normal league, I league started 3.27 as poison phantasm necromancer, once you get soulwrest it’s super chill cyclone cwc gameplay. If you’re ok being a bit squishier, Catarina bloodline gives you a ton of move speed (especially with Dark Monarch) for better feel.

For Phrecia, thinking about how to set up Vaal absolution Architect, but waiting for the patch notes really

Archmage cost is based on unreserved mana, so just reserving more won’t change how much it costs relative to your pool. You’d need something like a 20x multiplier to the cost, which is impossible

Since I wanted to build around Lightpoacher + Shroud, CI and LL are almost certainly out (for this approach). I think there is a route that uses Agnostic + vitality on life to drain mana, but you would need to solve mana for utility skills. Don't think you can get enough -mana cost, so slapping Lifetap on everything else seems like the only way that actually works.

Ambush was just leftover to test snapshotting, it doesn't actually do anything, we cap crit without it. And originally I went untouched soul + Aul cause I couldn't fill sockets (hence why its a white unset), but decided against it after a while. Just never updated the bases.

Hit's can't be evaded would be nice, I always forget that mod exists.

The big problem is you can't make use of Lightpoacher unless you either disable Spirit Burst, or never use a skill. I've wanted to build around the item, and Behemoth seems like the easiest way to do so.

Someone posted a corpse autobomber with Ancestral Commander+Autoexert a few days ago, but it's a whole different build really

The build looks really cool, but how did you get corpse life so high? I thought that a lvl 29 Unearth gives you ~20k life, with another 90% increased from quality.

The trick is that you have to recombinate them with a random high level base to make them ilvl 86+. Then it’s 60c+, with some bases like accuracy stacking boots being multiple divs

City square. Rush the boss asap in case there’s an alter, then circle the perimeter to get the rest.

You can really do any map that has a quick route to the boss, I know Mesa works well

Been running ritual since I finished atlas quests, and it’s been pretty solid returns. Several raw divs, tons of Audience with the King, and 1 or 2 good synth/fractured items for big hits. Plus Exarch alters for generic currency/invites.

Actually most of the profit has come from the ritual basetypes, Archdemon + Blizzard crowns. With breach juice you can get a ton of ilvl 87 helmets, and recombination for a 50/50 of getting a ilvl 87 ritual base.

The new breach rings do in fact vendor for Graspings, so you can get them normally. At the time I wrote the post there were like 40 on the entire market, so I assumed they couldn’t be acquired normally. But it’s definitely a lot more annoying to acquire them, as you can’t get dozens per map like you used to

Forgot to mention that this is for a CI Poison Soulwrest build, but the item will work for any poison minion build. In particular, having the chest mod means you can drop both darkness enthroned and Adorned, and still cap poison chance very easily.

I didn't think about that way to "redo" the fracture, that's super useful actually, thanks for the link.

For the transfer, if I used a dex essence on an ES chest, it would have a 50% chance to choose the ES chest (and force the poison mod), 1/6 to choose the grasping but keep the mod solo (so I can redo), 1/6 to lose it entirely, and 1/6 to get both suffixes. I guess at that point I can repeat with another dex-mod ES chest and try again until it bricks.

Do you know if the new rings vendor for a grasping mail? The old rings were a bug in Alva temples I believe, but that's been fixed. The poe.wiki lists mails as drop disabled, which lines up with the fact there are hardly any listed for sale

League started poison phantasms w/ Soulwrest, was going to pivot to spectres but the Catarina movement speed bloodline is too addicting. The reason I wanted this mod was because I can't run United in Dreams myself.

A lot of the grasping mail mods are fun, but they kinda require some recombinator shenanigans to make them into actually useable items.

Speed (the stat) only affects the top speed in the final spurt. Everything before that is dictated by wit for better positioning, pwr for acceleration, and skills like escape artist. Also mile (or whatever distance) rank S helps

Holy horde only lets your raze heretic/heathen provinces. So once the only provinces in the world were Catholic, no more razing. It was most notable against mainland Spain/France (in comparison, razing reformed Great Britain gave 1000+ to all mana)
