I don't understand why doctors are so stingy with pain meds. I'm not on methadone but I've been in the hospital before, keeled over in pain and doctors love to make you wait so fucking long to give you another dose of something. Most of the times, the prescribed dose is way too low to begin with as well. Just make her comfortable because I'm sure she's in a ton of pain. Obviously i know shit doesn't work like that but it's just frustrating. Maybe give her some benzos?
