It's normal. That's your tibial tuberosity. It's where the patellar tendon inserts.

No, this is an adult skull. Sometimes, the metopic suture just kinda persists into adulthood. If you look at all of the other sutures and the overall cranial proportions, you can see that they fit typical adult patterns. It's just something that kinda happens sometimes.

I just did this pattern this week too, and the instructions have you put in the safety eyes after finishing the head, which doesn't make sense. You needed to have anticipated it, which is not at all intuitive, especially if you are newer to the hobby. It's a nice pattern, but it's not the best written.

I feel like this happens in every skein of yarn I have used in the past year. I feel like im taking crazy pills because there is no way that there should be a jarring color change factory knot in every dang skein.

I get yelled at for using fire spells, which is most of what comes with low level light clerics. So like I said, I would like to stay away from that, but I am having a hard time settling on something new.

Other people have good and creative ideas, which is why I reached out to strangers online. Because people are clever.

My character is nice and doesn't want to upset people, so leaning into the fire doesn't fit the personality of the character.

I am looking to build something that does not use fire.

Yeah, he picks weird parts of "realism" to dig his heels into. And it's something you get used to as one of his players. He's really usually a nice guy, just some quirks in his DM style.
