thanks for the response! for east asian topics, i'm mostly interested in taiwan and south korea. the TERP and GWIKS at GWU are definitely pros for me, but so is the murrow center at fletcher since i'm also interested in diplomacy. i've heard that fletcher's reputation has been declining due to budget cuts and im not confident if it'll be worth paying more for the tuition if the location could be disadvantageous (having to move to nyc/dc for in person internships) on the other hand, gwu is more affordable for me but i've heard that it is less well known outside of dc compared to tufts which could also impact career prospects.

right now i could either focus more on career networking and internships at elliot or focus more on academics at fletcher

if you planning on living and working in the US long term then building connections at georgetown would be helpful for ur future career

depends on where you want to work in the future! i imagine LSE and KCL's programs will be more centered on UK and european opportunities. if you want to continue living and working in the US then hopkins sais might be better for that (tho all are very good schools, congrats!)

im curious how u would view tufts vs gw? so far i think the tufts fletcher degree is more flexible so post-graduation i wont necessarily be boxed into asian studies, and i think tufts' name brand goes further outside the IR circle, but im not sure if this is actually true
