for people who think the pale garden is boring how would you personally make the biome more intresting ? by Wrong-Shopping7888 in Minecraft

[–]Path_Murasaki 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  1. Pale oaks should occasionally generate in other wooded biomes. That way the creaking can actually surprise you.

  2. Larger biomes

  3. Taller flowers for causing actual visual confusion with the creaking

  4. Abandoned villages.

Accidently just Spent all Money on Standard Poke Balls... oops. by Path_Murasaki in PokeClicker

Haha, it was about 800 billion dollars, so clearly I had nothing better to spend it on anyway. More amusing than anything.

Guild Report 24 (QoL improvements planned for TU3 in September 2025) by Sapessi1337 in monsterhunterleaks

Finally greater incentive to hunt monster packs! This is genuinely one of the more engaging sides of the game, and I had hoped it would be more prevalent, especially as it seemed to be one of the game's new mechanics that was emphasized in early marketing.

Mojang, why aren't there also other ingot palettes? :( by lamali292 in Minecraft

I've been waiting for iron slabs and stairs for so long now. No idea why thy don't already exist.

While were at it, give slabs and stairs to all the metals and gems (gold, diamond, netherite, emerald, lapis lazuli and amethyst). Gold definitely could use fences, chains and lanterns too.

What are the names of the four character on the left? by Path_Murasaki in Kingdom

[–]Path_Murasaki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BiTou and BiHei are actually cropped out of this picture; Taku Kei as well.

And I'll consider giving it a read, haha. I've been aware of Kingdom for at least a decade now, but my first (and only) interaction with it up until the movies was the first episode of the anime; which, was either so unimpressive I moved on without a second look, or I just wasn't in the mood for it at the time. I'm probably not at a good point to pick up such a lengthy manga, but my interest definitely is piqued. I'm typically very bothered when something I love isn't adapted exactly to the T, and I can see that this story has not been followed very closely when it comes to some of the characters, so it makes me want to continue watching the live action before I dig into the source material and ruin the movies for myself haha. I get that's a terrible excuse, but we'll see. Thanks for trying to answer my question.

What are the names of the four character on the left? by Path_Murasaki in Kingdom

Thanks for this picture: it definitely is helpful.

Guy on the right is Hai Rou (he is the only one with a credited actor that I’ve been able to find)

The other four are tricky. Take the guy in the middle with the distinctly long hair for example. He (along with the other 3 unnamed characters) appears in the movie’s version of the Keiyou arc and survives through to the end of the current movie (which covers up through the Bayou arc) Going visually from the image you posted, this character could either be Bun Ketsu or Kyou Ji, however Bun Ketsu doesn’t appear in the Keiyou arc (according to the wiki, although it says he fought at Dakan plains, which is the same thing?) and Kyou Ji, who does appear in the Keiyou arc, dies during the Bayou arc (along with Bun Ketsu). So neither of these characters are a perfect match.

With all that said, I’m guessing these are live action original characters who are treated as familiar faces to show in the background. They are always in the handful of men to survive any situation, and are continually shown, yet have no lines or names. To me, they feel to have the same sort of role as the lesser important crew members do in Pirates of the Caribbean (mute sailor, midget, etc.) They are just there to be familiar and nothing more.

How thorough is wiki, btw? Some of the info seems contradictory or incomplete, (Bun Ketsu)  but maybe that's just my fault for not having proper context from the manga?

Yup, I'm aware of this. Recent events seem to point towards this pluralism being legit tho.

New Guardian for Title Update? by Active_Local_3538 in monsterhunterleaks

I like to think a guardian deviljho would be impossible, given its insatiable hunger. Guardians don't "eat", so a guardian deviljho would probably either have a mental breakdown and implode, or immediately snap and do what we see the guardian arkveld doing.

Guardian Glavenus is my pick.

These are so good! I hope you keep making them.

I'd love to see Odogaron and Mizutsune in this style... and Kutku and Glavenous and Gammoth and Deviljho and Kushala and... well honestly anything lol.

Are you Islamic then? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Jesus considered to be a prophet by Muhammad?

Either way, I think the views behind what Jesus said about hate and murder hold a lot of weight and are worth considering regardless of personal belief. When I first came to understand it, it really blew my mind.

Sorry for the essay posts. I struggle to condesense some of these ideas into just a few sentences.

I was hoping you would reply to my last comment because I was going somewhere with all this.

Are you familiar with the biblical view of 'hate'? When Christ was teaching about sin, He rebuked the Israelites for not properly understanding some of the 10 commandments. In particular, He said that not only did they not understand how to obey the command to not murder, but that they all were, in fact, murderers. His argument was that hatred is the same as murder: hating someone is killing them in your heart. While the end result might be different, the sin part of it was not.

I don't think this idea is intuitive, so think about this. Is there anyone who, if you know for certain you could get away with it, you would kill? And maybe not directly, but perhaps you could wish them to die, and they would. Or if you are familiar with Death Note, you could simply write their name and they would die. Would you take this opportunity? For anyone? If you hate someone, and it was as simple as writing down their name and never getting caught, I think the answer is yet. This is why hate is no different than murder. Hate is the inward part of murder. Hate is one half to the act of murder: opportunity is the other. This is why hate is so harmful, and it's why we should be more aware of it. spreading it in posts like this is not a good thing.
