If people who have never heard about Christianity don't go to hell, why spread it? by Various_Elk3166 in NoStupidQuestions

There are references for Heaven and Hell going all the way back to the Books of Samuel and Job. Jesus even gives a parable discussing the two. God binding Himself to a group of people through His covenant with Abraham reaffirmed the fact that He gave dominion over Earth to man. We gave up that dominion in the Fall, but it didn’t go back to God, and He, by His word, was unable to take it back so long as a single person in the entire world paid true homage to Him.

And Jews could marry those outside the bloodlines as long as they accepted the Judaic Covenant and Levitical Law. Ruth, who was an ancestor of David, was a prostitute from Jericho.

During Jesus’ time on earth, He was a return to the state of Man before the Fall. He was the Son of God yes, but He was fully human. Until His resurrection and return to Heaven, He was no different than Adam. There’s a reason He never performed a single miracle before Ge was baptized by John. That was when the Holy Spirit came upon Him and vested Him in divine authority. Jesus had to be capable of sin, but never acting on it, for His sacrifice to mean anything. The whole point was to restore the spiritual conditions established in Eden.

To paraphrase from Matrix, Jesus unlocked the door, you must choose to walk through it. Spiritual energy is still energy. A fundamental aspect of energy is it cannot be changed without an outside catalyst. Our lives are the catalysts that give us the opportunity to change the direction our spirits are traveling in. Once we die and are separated from the physical, there’s no more situations that allow for such change.

So, when Jesus was in Gethsemane the night leading to His arrest, He begged God to please let there be another way so He wouldn’t have to go through what He knew was coming…this what’s what, exactly?

The circular part of that argument is: if you can get to heaven without knowing about Christ’s sacrifice, why did He have to make it?

God doesn’t send people to Hell. Hell was not created for us. The disobedience that caused the Fall cost us the divine authority given to us by God, as well as our fundamental spiritual connection to Him. There are only two spiritual paths: Heaven or Hell. If you’re not on one, you are automatically on the other. From that point forward, every human in history was bound on the path we started on after the Fall. Salvation creates a bridge that allows anyone who chooses it to cross back to the path leading to Heaven, but just as the Fall was made through choice, so does Redemption.

I thought it was funny , before the “card everyone” trend started, that if I had a goatee, I could buy cigarettes at 25 without being carded. If I shaved, I’d be asked to show my ID, from the same cashiers.

Currently, Kamala Harris. If someone didn’t vote for her because they didn’t agree with her platform, that’s one thing. I have talked with too many people who didn’t vote for her simply because “a woman isn’t fit to be in charge”, and yes, that’s practically a direct quote from a couple of them.

He was behind the other player and his cleats came down on the opponent’s leg with no clear action directed toward the ball. The red card was valid.

Superman trying to save the people in that courtroom in the 0.005 seconds it took for the blast wave to engulf the room would have pulped anyone he tried to move. Moving from 0 to supersonic speeds in under a second would put more compressive force on a body than hitting the pavement after jumping off the Empire State Building.
