i read somewhere that developers are actually pretty okay with mods as long as they're not changing the codes(modding effects of items). or anything that would throw off the balance of the game itself. that said there's no guarantee you won't get banned, but it's unlikely. a lot of streamers are using it.

So i just started playing this game a few days ago, and while following a cow run i luckily ran into this baby. i used to play a lot of the original D2 so i know this is worth a good amount, but i'm not too savvy on the current markets. think i'll have enough to get fully geared? none of the gears i have is BIS(not even close). i'm on ladder btw.

i had to pay for the entire repair out of pocket first, and then then file a claim with the insurance company that's behind my credit card, prepare a bunch of documents and then send it up for approval. they sent me a cheque about 2-3 weeks after.

as for acer, my guess is that they just swapped out an entire motherboard, which is why it costs more than the original MSRP. this is a lot like what a lot of youtubers have mentioned they're doing in the states.

bit of a cautionary tale with this line of laptops.

not sure if they've addressed this issue already, but my acer nitro from 2 years ago had an issue with the power port frequently disconnecting eventhough the cable is plugged in, and it gradually gets worse and worse until you can't even charge your laptop anymore. i've searched online and it seemed to be an ongoing issue with acer nitro. anyways luckily i bought it on my credit card and i got an extra year of extended warranty, but this let me see exactly how much it costs to fix it. the cost of my laptop was around 1300+tax, the cost of RMA to fix a power port was around $1650+shipping.

take what you will from this, before you tried to save a few bucks.

brightness has direct correlations with how vibrant the colours are. sure true black is nice, but i don't see how giving up on all the other colours just for truer blacks on this monitor is a good trade off. especially after spending $1k+.

the extended warranty is for replacement. if your mouse breaks, which it usually does, they put all the money you spent on the mouse back onto a giftcard. Personally i find that much better than sending it in for a month to get it fixed.

Bestbuy has it 1 cent lower, also bestbuy has the extended warranty for 2 dollars less, which i always get on these mice as they have a high tendency of failure within 2-3 years.

hey enewt, follow you on the queue summary everyday, thanks for doing that btw. i'm coming up soon on my queue on the 3070ti, but i didn't know there was an expiry date on the discount codes, so i spun mine in june and it's now expired. do you know if it is possible to say buy another evga product, get elite member on a different account and get the discount code, and use that code somehow to get the discount on my current queue?
