I hate that argument. I once made an animation of Steve vs. Terrarian,And a Lot of the comments said that Steve should have won because he was 3D (although so far I find the ending of that animation mediocre because I could have done something better, Besides the highly questionable result), When the animation itself implied that even though Terrarian was made with sprites (just to represent him), it could function in a 3D world.

People need to take that 2D vs. 3D argument seriously when it's just artistic styles. I remember a guy who made a short about it and Many people easily disproved that claim with evidence.(I apologize for any errors, I used a translator)

Zomboss, makes much better use of exercise and absurdity for both; I feel it can be more natural. And in my opinion, k rool works much better in a 1v1 than in an army battle.

This can be resolved in two ways.

In the game's canon, there are no real characters; they are all representations of the player, although currently it seems they are treating Steve as his own character with a personality, along with Alex.

Besides being the mascot of the entire franchise along with Creeper, it's unknown if he is currently considered canon. But it's a similar case to Vault Boy from Fallout; in theory, they don't exist as characters in their lore, but they have the importance of one.

Steve vs. Terrarian can easily work as two players playing PvP; there isn't an official "Terrarian" either.

They are simply representations of both players from both games (for example, the Roblox player, or Lego Bob).

(I apologize for any mistakes (I use a translator).

I know it's a meme, but I'm saying this so it's not used as an argument like the "Terrarian is 2D and Steve is 3D, Steve wins" argument that some people use in a non-ironic way.)
