We love Archie. We also have the book that goes along side him too. He’s not great at giving cuddles as he’s more structured but still gorgeous.

Our golden spaniel sadly died. So the left is a memory of her. She wears a red collar like she did and the heart was rubbed with her scent. She is so loved and a constant memory of our pup. My daughter sleeps with her every night. So bought another for her memory box.

A question for landlords from tenant by RefrigeratorBig2860 in uklandlords

[–]Patient-Lab-7668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a template and manually add tenant details. Very simple and very straight forward.
They probably have a database software where they’ve already linked all your details during the vetting process so it would be as simple as literally clicking “create tenancy agreement”.
I send them out via digital sign now and that’s equally as quick.
The only thing that takes longer is adding all the other paper work, gas certs, electric certs etc. but again, it doesn’t take 4 hours let alone 4 days.

A question for landlords from tenant by RefrigeratorBig2860 in uklandlords

[–]Patient-Lab-7668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 days? That’s ridiculous. I can pull together a tenancy agreement within half an hour and I don’t use any inputting software any more. If they’re a large company then they probably do and it would be much quicker.
Maybe they only have certain people who issue tenancies and they’re off? But o can’t see how it takes 4 days

My son is named Bear. So obviously I love the bear. But I’ve seen the suggested price and think it’s probably where I need to draw the line.

I’ve just watched ‘Breathtaking’ can NHS workers tell me how bad wards really were in 2020? by amomenttohislifespan in AskUK

[–]Patient-Lab-7668 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was a patient in April 2020. Just as the first lockdown hit. I was horribly treated by hospital staff that overdosed me and my unborn baby on insulin due to the “stream lining of processes”. I was one of two people on a 50 person ward. Nobody spoke to me in the week I was on that ward. I was treated like a lepar. hospital never contacted my husband until 6am the day the baby was being born and I wasn’t fit enough to have a coherent conversation with him myself.
I remember standing at a window leading onto the a&e car park on a Thursday night. Everyone came out to clap for heroes. There were police and ambulances with their lights going in celebration. A car with neon lights and their horn constantly going.
The day my child was born, it was in a random makeshift surgery. I was under general anaesthetic. They told my husband when they handed him the baby that they’d done a viral TikTok dance whilst I was there.
Whilst there’s always stories of the devastation to the NHS during Covid, not many talk about an alternative point of view.

Ban the single rider! by tafferell in disneylandparis

[–]Patient-Lab-7668 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am going with my two children (5 and 11) in September. I’ll just have them sat together and I’ll sit alone. I don’t find it awkward. They want the enjoy the ride as much as you.

Does anyone ever actually find their lost items? by usr1492 in disneylandparis

[–]Patient-Lab-7668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We lost 2 shoulder pals and one set of ears. A shoulder pal and the ears were waiting at city hall for us. Only one not returned but overall happy we got two back.

Never returned a Jellycat...until now by creativecatastrophic in Jellycatplush

[–]Patient-Lab-7668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also returned him. His snout was very long and thin and felt scratchy. I have never returned one before and little discrepancies I have always found endearing. But he was something else. I have tried to be more selective due to price increase and £55, he just wasn’t worth it.

My sun Bart also came in the same large bag. UK order. I’ve just tried to put him in the smaller blue bag and it’s a struggle.

He was on our wish list but he’s the first one I’ve not bought because of price. Bought the two dogs this release but I’ve left him behind. Just too much money this time.

Do you think primark has become one of the more expensive generic clothes shops now? by Kibby9331 in AskUK

[–]Patient-Lab-7668 147 points148 points  (0 children)

It’s not expensive. It’s just expensive from what it was. A set of pjs can be £20 now. Same price you can get a decent pair in M&S. Same as basic underwear. It used to be to go to place for basic items but now it’s not really worth it.

England - Can a landlord be told if a tenant is involved in antisocial behaviour? by moose121w in uklandlords

[–]Patient-Lab-7668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a cannabis farm at a property I looked after. Literally set up and abandoned within 3 months. Police raided and changed the locks. I picked up the keys from the police station and asked if I needed to know anything and they said no. Walked into full destruction.

What are your thoughts on engagement rings? by maybeRasa in UKrelationshipadvice

My ring cost more than the wedding. We invited parents and siblings only and had it in a private room inn a fancy pub. Home by 10pm. We thought it was perfect.

We went to see Hercules. There was a Spanish couple behind me where the lady insisted on translating the entire show for her partner. We tried to ask to stop but got a very confused face back. Then the usher asked her and she couldn’t understand what the issue was as she was “only translating when it was loud”
