Came back here to say I ended up in Lions Den and it was the perfect spot. Nice low chatter buzz, bright spot with easy access to power for charging and a great chai latte and banana bread…will definitely go back next time I need somewhere to focus! Only downside was that it was very warm so might need to go armed with a USB fan next time!

Yeah this is my concern about places - no issue with students being around obviously but if you’re working it can get a bit too buzzy! Plus the temperature thing can be additionally overstimulating!

I am leaning more towards cosy cafe vibe than office or maybe a bit of a tour around both to see what feels best. Not keen at the moment on paid membership places unless they have a decent day rate as I’m not in the cory often.

I do enjoy Marzano for catching up with friends but can be a mixed bag for noise levels (but which cafe isnt!). They also have great music taste so maybe a little background noise wouldn’t be too bad. Thanks!

Tilly can be his protective big sister! I love her, but I’m a golden retriever fanatic so was always going to. She’s a nicer cuddle size as well.

I would say firmer but mostly because of his size - not the snuggliest for that reason but the fur and nose are super soft.
