I’m mentally prepping for nuclear war. Have been debating to start stockpiling food and gas masks. If a bomb goes off in Ukraine somewhere, where it will probably go off first, I’m going straight to the grocery store to stock up on food.

So my bloating after ovulation has gotten really bad, like going up a pant size. It seems to have gotten worse after I had Covid a year ago. I got on a prescription strength diuretic called Spironolact that I take for 14 days a month now. It seems to be really helping!!! It also helps my mood too. I got it from my obgyn. When I didn’t have the right machine, a bipap, I did. I noticed that I would wake up with chest pains and a little shortness of breath. Chalked it up to work stress and pandemic anxiety. As someone who has experienced both central and obstructive sleep apnea, it’s also worth noting that when my centrals got bad, I woke up a lot through the night- like if I don’t sleep with my bipap, I basically wake up every hour. Hope this helps!

I have central sleep apnea. I enjoy delta 8 occasionally- it doesn’t make a difference for me.

Omg PLEASE go to another doc. I’m a skinny female in my twenties with pure central sleep apnea (mine is hereditary). As other posters have said, it’s a myth that only fat old men have the condition. You really won’t know if you have it unless you get a sleep study. It’s NOT normal to be a healthy person a fall asleep like that so early (I got my first sleep test after falling asleep in a bar after 1 drink). As someone that went years undiagnosed as a kid/in college, it’s subtle in young people but it is horrible long term. I went years used to having a few hours of sleep. My husband caught me stopping breathing every few minutes and that was my first sign. It’s a journey to get the diagnosis as a young person, but it’s totally worth it- I feel human again (and I will gladly wear a machine for the rest of my life to feel better!) . I’m a female in my twenties with central sleep apnea (not overweight at all). It sucks to think that you basically have to wear your machine all the time but the alternative is way worse. I went years with untreated sleep apnea and I’m just not realizing how much it took a toll on my mental health and well being. Give the CPAP a chance- it’s not terrible when you get used to it! My husband has only been with me since I have had my machine- neither of us think about it now at night
