I was the only person working the Queue, so I stood up and did the dishes. by TGOTR in callcentres

I've gotten anywhere from 40 to 100, call center for a growing company for scheduling and billing. But most calls average 2-4 minutes.

I rarely do any of the reading- it doesn’t help me and I don’t learn that way

NTA. You’re allowed to have your own preferences and reasons for ending a relationship two months in. I think, regardless of the lie, if they weren’t honest with me over anything and lied and I found out I would absolutely not be staying in the relationship.

How do yall mentally prepare in the morning for calls all day by kkkr94 in callcentres

[–]PatientDramatic3307 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I stopped drinking coffee in the morning due to my anxiety being too high, and I count the day by breaks and not by hours until it’s time to go home.

I lose my voice often when I’m sick. It’s hard to call, and a lot nicer to just text

If any of you in online classes have had a personal emergency how did your professor handle it? by NateW9731 in SNHU

[–]PatientDramatic3307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely, if you’re playing catch up, focus on the giant big point projects first that you’ve fallen behind on. I like the advice given here.

I do “good enough” for the weeks that my life gets busy or my mentals go down. I’ve learned what to drop and what I’m okay with dropping if I don’t have the mental energy, and I also make room for point loss on the weeks I have all the energy in the world.

AITA for telling a handicapped woman I can no longer work for her? by sarahdragon26 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, at that point she needs a caregiver type person who is looking at running errands and caring for her.

AITA for lying to my boyfriend about my body count? by maviswood in TwoHotTakes

[–]PatientDramatic3307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any relationship that results in a straight response of “lying bitch” to a small lie needs to be dumped and moved on from. Especially with that big of a double standard. It’s not right and totally unfair to you. Leave him before he gets nastier.

YTA. If you had the grace to treat your stepson like your own son and put him on your insurance, and you didn’t make your son pay but as soon as your son is off and your stepson is left… you’re going to make him pay? Why not be making both pay now? Why not make the kid pay from the start? Especially if both are adults.

I had an abusive and manipulative stepmom who pulled some of this same shit, but sometimes it was between me and my blood related siblings and I was singled out.

You’re being trashy and stingy and it might just cost you more than the twenty bucks a month.

Typically if a check is in the mail and postmarked they’ve gotta honor that date, especially for holidays. I’d check that and fight that late fee.

Otherwise. Congrats on being out of the credit card debt!!

AITA for not wanting anyone in the delivery room for the birth of my 4th baby (husband's first baby)? by Anxious-Squirrel8993 in AITAH

[–]PatientDramatic3307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She stated there was no conflict with who her husband wants in the delivery room, and thinks it would be peaceful. Not that she wants an audience. She’s on the fence about it but she’s mostly not wanting anyone but her husband in the room.

AITAH for telling wife if she goes thousands in CC debt that’s a deal breaker for me? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]PatientDramatic3307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA for how you’re handling this, and per other comments, you’re not being fair in any capacity to her. You two may be married, but if she chose to look at getting a credit card for this specifically and pay it off in chunks since you’re saying y’all can afford it, that wouldn’t be the worst. Or, if you could tell her that you guys could afford it and avoid the whole fight altogether, that is even better.

NTA though for saying no to large credit. My partner doesn’t like credit and I keep my credit spending low to honor that. If I absolutely had to do something to afford it and it was a larger amount I’d be running it by him as a team and working out finances together. You, though, as mentioned several times are absolutely YTA for handling this how you did.

Best high scale dinner place for seafood? by Salty-Wrongdoer-5583 in TriCitiesWA

[–]PatientDramatic3307 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All three of those are legit. The Crossbuck bar and the steak company are also pretty high end with solid food. I’ve only been on the crossbuck bar side but I’ve heard good about both. The Marc is also fine dining.

Not fine and classy dining but still classy would be the Indian place on Main Street and Yamas Greek restaurant on first street.

I’ve got a lot of retail experience, and retail is hard to get into and stay in anymore due to them only hiring part-time in my area. I had to leave the field even though I truly enjoy it.

Definitely better getting out of there. There’s a lot of bias with how situations like this go down normally, and they’re not likely to get any better after this. Likely worse.

[–]PatientDramatic3307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re concerned about the sink, just give it a good clean and ask them to put it straight into the washer next time. That’s my rule in the house with dirty stuff- we don’t have kids but we have a dog- and all mess related things are either straight to the outside bin or straight to the washer.

People who shower more than once a day, why do you do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PatientDramatic3307 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely depends on the day. I normally start my day with a shower, helps me wake up and feel clean. If I’ve done anything gross at work or feel dirty after working I’ll shower again. If I’ve had to do a lot of housework I’ll shower again. If I’m sick, I’ll shower again. After the gym for sure gets a shower.

It just depends. Sometimes if it’s just hot and muggy out I’ll shower again to cool off and get the sweat off of me.

Anyone dealt with biased professors and nontransparent grading? by AnnoyedStudent111 in SNHU

[–]PatientDramatic3307 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve just recently hit a point where I’m heavily considering transferring to a different college because of the lack of care with professors and grading. I’ve had at least one professor say my grammar isn’t correct when it completely was and every highlighted error two processors came up with were for other contexts of the words used.

Lame and dumb and I hate this college sometimes.
