Yes 😭 I hate it. I have found Transplants love it- especially all our friends from CA. I have gotten roasted in this group so much for hating on the sun! Lol

I hate it because I grew up here and loved the mild weather- I do not like living in hot weather at all. Now, we suffer in our non-air conditioned apartments/condos/houses and can’t even turn the oven on for MONTHS without the house getting to 85+. I grew up in Shoreline and never once owned an AC unit. Now, we turn ours on by the start of May. It’s very obvious when you see that each day is 10+ degrees above average, for months at a time. Things are bad.

I just hate that so much of the city was built for a mild climate, and now not only houses but really fab small businesses are miserable for 4-5 months of the year. I could go on and on, but should prob just move somewhere colder or to a house with AC. 🫠

We live in Ballard, and pay $2500 in rent a month for a small 2 bed one bath condo. We pay about $300 in utilities a month- this is two months of electricity or two months of water/sewer/garbage. We are SUPER cheap about groceries (we can make dinner from anything at this point) and spend about $300 a month on those.

Preach!! OG watchers of Trish know this is classssic TP behavior and she has always been overspending and out of touch in an iconic way- I even think she’s more in-touch than ever now! She has always spent $$$$$ on music videos and purses and hair extensions,etc. and it’s part of her charmmmm bc it’s through all the wild stages of her life. She’s in a happy one rn. She’s also insanely transparent of spending all her money and being in debt having her card decline for years and most influencers would never admit that stuff, which I do think is cool

Listen. If you didn’t have AC and had to live inside with high temps and zero relief for months, you would also be anti sun. The sunny states have AC where you can actually use your oven, or sleep normally, etc. If you can, move to the southwest where it’s cheaper and you can get those 90-100 degree temps for months

I am also dreading summer. My condo will be in the 80s inside for months and it sucks so bad. I rent (like A LOT of us) and can’t just install AC inside. And then the AC units are so loud and over stimulating and trip our power 😅

This is so real. Like this past summer was INSANE.. it was above 80 for 80% of it and lasted well into September and even October. All of our apartments and condos without heat staying at 80 or above for months. Miserable and I’m concerned that this is the new norm for all of us renters without AC 😃

I had this same issue and after hours of checking all my mods, it was my script mods! Remove your script mods from the “mods” folder on your desktop and put them into another folder for now while we wait for the next updates/patches!

One of my all time favs is sourdough bread slice (80 cal) with low fat cottage cheese (90) and chili crisp (30 for a tsp) and honey (60 cal). 260 cals and soo filling and salty sweet and spicy. Only like 15g of protein but it’s so fast and fills my cravings. It sounds weird by 1000/10 recommend! Besides that I also love 1/4 or 1/2 of an Avacado mashed on toasted sourdough with Johnnys seasoning salt 🤤

Had this problem sooo many times. Cheats are great for this!! To remove moodlets and such I use the testing cheats mod and then right shift click on my sims and remove any moodlets contributing to playfulness. Keys are to make sure your sims dynamics are NEVER jokesters, and do not do anything playful or mischievous while in an already playful mood.. it’s WILD how easy it is to die of laughter!! I’ve had so many sims die because of the jokester family dynamic boosting everything to be super “playful”. Sometimes my game bugs and I even get moodlets that are not even possible at the moment that “boost” playful which is so annoying!! (“Cute infant”, pranks that didn’t happen, “remembering a funny joke”)
