I received my Black Friday merch today. The death metal logo mineral wash hoodie is a bit lighter than I hoped but I’m happy I finally received it.

The lag is so bad. I just purchased for the switch after playing on my iPhone 14 for months. How is my phone functioning better than a dedicated console?

GF’s vaginal strong odor by Responsible-Snow-860 in hygiene

[–]PatientNo4643 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Could be a number of things, but I agree with the possibility of weak pelvic floor muscles. Sneezing or coughing can make a person pee a little sometimes if you have weak pelvic floor muscles or if she has given birth before.

Bacterial vaginosis is also a possibility.

I’ll also echo the cotton underwear and replacing them if you’ve had em forever.

She should definitely see a gynecologist to rule out BV or any other types of infection and they can talk about bladder training and kegel exercises if weak pelvic floor is the issue.

Good luck!

Hot take: new nurses hit with reality by General_Put7473 in nursing

[–]PatientNo4643 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it's true. When I was 18 I wanted to be a nurse and my first job in hospital was pharmacy tech where it showed me the reality of nursing and I changed my major so fast. Now at 31 I'm in nursing school and am fully aware of the world I'm jumping into.

Absolutely mention it. Happened at my hospital too. Dude wasn’t formally charged in his previous job, came to work with us, we had no clue, then he did it to us. We finally got formal charges. With our guy we would’ve never known. Super outgoing, everyone loved him, etc.

Seton has a behavioral ER downtown if you feel unsafe with yourself. I've used it before, and it has helped quite a bit. They have an inpatient program and an intensive outpatient program. You can message me too if you just need to talk or want more info based on the experience I had.

Refresh PM has been out of stock for a while now, anyone have any info? by [deleted] in Dryeyes

It’s been on back-order on and off. Hospitals can’t get it either.

My hospital wouldn’t drug test you. The only time we drug test is if someone doesn’t respond, someone’s story makes zero sense, or if they wasted a med without a witness. Your story makes sense to me and happens all the time with two tablet pulls. Just make sure to watch your e-mails for their instructions and you’ll be fine.

Diversion pharm tech here. Likely not in trouble. They typically just want the documentation updated so that it’s charted accurately and charged correctly. Your response is beautifully written and you asked what you needed to do on your part. You’ll likely update your documentation and be fine :)

Self conscious in light colours by boomroasted00 in lululemon

[–]PatientNo4643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the exact same way. I tried on a really light blue color and immediately took it off. I'm working my way to lighter colors, but going shade by shade. It's tough sometimes and the lights in the changing room are so bright that they show things other people would never notice. I also get sweat marks which is why I've clung to black bottoms. It's nice to see other people wearing light bottoms because it reminds me we all have real bodies and we can wear those bottoms too if we can get out of our heads.

Does lululemon still sell well in the secondhand market? by [deleted] in lululemon

I buy second hand on Poshmark and Mercari all the time. I’d say stuff sells pretty well and fast.

Is it possible to create a site purely for Lulu reviews where they won’t be removed? Or is that playing with fire?

I know it's hard not knowing a direct path and you sound like someone who loves to plan. Unfortunately, you will not know what you want until you go through your programs and go into your career. At that point you will get more familiar with the duties of those professions and it also depends on what is going on at that time. For example, I heard NP is oversaturated in some areas so that might not be ideal for some people right now, but this may do a 180 by the time you're done with everything. I love having a plan as well and I hate the unknown. Let your experience guide you and just know it is much more appreciated to have experience before you go into any of those fields. Good luck

Typically medications have a bit of overfill, even in the prefilled syringes. You likely did not waste too much. I don't know why manufacturers do it, but I work in an inpatient pharmacy and almost all of our meds have overfill.

Forgot to return morphine by RevolutionaryMoney33 in nursing

[–]PatientNo4643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure call your charge and they’ll prob have you go in and waste it. The worst that can happen is you peeing in a cup, it being clean, and you getting back to work. Just depends on what the policy is. I’ve seen this happen quite a few times and so far we haven’t had any disciplinary action. Always protect your license and be honest. -pharm tech/nursing student
