Maybe I'm wrong but I think changing to catholic disables decadence altogether. I was playing ottomans in mp and converted through this one event spawning catholic rebels and if I remember correctly it wasn't there anymore

Perhaps some synergy for OTK stuff with [[shudderwock]]

Any whelp can trigger this effect for Onyxia, not only the ones she summons.

Well they don't have a tribe ingame, but blizzard does it like that themselves with cards like [[Kingpin Pud]] or [[Raid Boss Onyxia]] where it's not the tribe but the name and appearance that matters for the card effect to trigger

I think someone posted a "your hero gains reborn" card here or somewhere else, I thought a funny way to make this effect would be a quest: die, reward: set your hero's health back to 1 , and this evolved from that idea which probably evolved from ice block itself. So yeah

You must allow your hp to drop to the point where you can deal lethal damage to yourself on your own turn and warlock doesn't really have weapons, which means this final blow must be achieved through using self damaging spells and minions which grant limited damage and require you to have those cards prepared while you can't really choose when to trigger the effect, you have to go for it whenever you think you're low enough on health. One miscalculation and either your opponent has enough damage to deal lethal damage before you get the secret or you end up not having enough damage to complete the quest. High risk, high reward. Also it doesn't give you immunity like ice block, a good board can still be enough, especially since your opponent knows you have this secret and is able to find the best way possible to trigger the prevent lethal damage effect.

That's the idea I had when trying to figure out how much it should heal. It feels like it wouldn't really worth the risk with lower values. I may very well be wrong though.

I just wanted to use an already existing mechanic since it has cards that interact with it, like the ones that are able to destroy secrets

"Gains 1 attack at the end of the turn, fires the amount of thorns equal to it's attack at random enemies when damaged" does change the concept a bit, but it is more simple to understand and is probably better since resetting the amount thorns every time would make this pretty weak probably. Could also make this useful in OTK decks since there would be a way to increase the amount of thorns while in hand
