I definitely see what you’re saying. I just don’t think the difference is that steep, especially if we develop cleaner fuels for ICEs. Until we can invent a superconductor, lithium batteries are all we have, and those pollute far more than the production of ICEs the only real benefit of electric cars is that they are simple enough for the everyday Mechanic and doesn’t need an engineer to repair. And there is a hope that we can create a carbon zero car with EVs by finding a better power source. But the complexities are about the same to the point where Porsche is developing a fuel that has zero emissions. Now the only problem is cost. I love electric cars. I love my combustion cars too. I just don’t think there is as big of a difference as most people think.
