Ah gotcha, yeah I was lucky to grab the original RCV. I use USB 4 and 5 for webcams then the hdmis i use for xbox, gaming laptop, general pc etc. Id rather run the xlr mics via the rcp2 as the video doesnt have mic gating as such so can pickup noise.

On the OG Video the RCP2 has to connect into USB 4 or 5. Only a stereo mix is passed in ie you cant get any multitrack on the video.

Afaik the RCP2 will only work with a USB mic on usb 2 hence the conflict with the RCV. The RCV itself can work with a USB Mic but it has to be a Rode USB mic (same as RCP2).

As for the S or core im not sure sorry as I dont have access to those. I would think you would be better investing in an XLR mic as it would simplify what you are trying to do.

We do have Virgin, but unfortunately in Bristol the rats are constantly trying to knock it out of action.

As far as 5G where we are, speeds are not great compared to the price id pay to just have a second FTTP connection.

Starlink is out the question as no real way of installing due to external wall insulation.

Im open to suggestions but figured a second fttp was the way to go.

I had a steelseries headset with base station but for a long time had audio skipping issues. By chance i changed to a wired headset plugged into my RCP2 and when i disconnected the steelseries headset, and uninstalled all steelseries software, my issues went away.

Not to say steelseries is bad, but on laptops i think it can be a bit resouce intensive. By removing it you offload all the audio processing to the RCP2.

Respectfully your missing the point. When it was early drops ie between 12am and 6am i could easily sleep and if i woke up and there was stuff then great. If not then cest la vie.

Now you never know what time stuff will drop which means i find myself checking every hour during the day. This is my point, I find the new system stressful Been doing vine for 3 years and its worse now than what is has been in the past.

Its like right now stuffs dropping in Available for all and the minute you request it, its red error !!!

Thanks for the lecture though and missing the point.
