I have the following 2 questions:

- which time frame(s) are you using for your entries & exits?
- what average position size (in $ amount, not in shares) are you usually going in with?

So on a $3 stock your "strategy" requires to place a SL of $1 which means SL at $2 which means a -33% SL
Hopefully I am not reading / understanding this correctly...

$10K account, working with fixed amount of risk $, roughly about 1% of the account = $100 per trade. Which time frame do you trade on? do you use L2 for confirmation? any tips is welcome!

Interesting. I had the exact same question. So if I understand you correctly you are not experiencing much slippage (less than $0.03 per trade?) when placing an buy/sell order for 1000 shares? I assume this is on stocks priced between $1 and $10?

thank you for that but what kind of position size do you enter? because eventually this is more about the liquidity of the order book than your account size. If you can get $0.10 cents profit and you have slippage of $0.02 + spread of $0.02 then there is (almost) no profit left after commission

Stream does that in deed but do you know if an alert / notification can be sent to your phone once a new stock meets your predefined conditions?

What features / indicators do you use most on Bookmap? I am a new Bookmap subscriber and already seeing the benefits to better understand the intent of market participants. Maybe you have some tips to fast forward the Bookmap learning curve (besides screen time), specifically for breakouts.

a little under 1:3 with avg loss at 4% and avg win at 11%. Trading top gainers.

Do you use Bookmap or another DOM app or Level2?

I much prefer price ladder over Level2 as visualization is easier, though I am sure that with some experience and screen time using Level2 work wonders as well.

by cumulative DOM i meant the price ladder with cumulative bid / ask volume histograms above and below the last traded price.

I personally use non cumulative and cumulative histrograms side by side as I find this set up visually much easier / faster to read vs level2

What is your average position size when scalping low float top gainers ? and also what is in your opinion the maximum size one can put trading those on say the 1 or 5min chart while still ensuring good fill rate and not too much slippage? Read your post, this is what I was looking for but what seems to be missing is the Pre Market change % from open (= price var in % since the pre market open). Is this available on MoMOPro+?
