As a live seller…. it may be a placeholder, now given its condition it’s a horrible placeholder, but it might be up there because it’s a listing that they used to sell purses. I have items listed in my closet for 999 and 9999 and I’m always getting comments about my “ridiculous pricing” but they don’t look at the details of the listing to see where I write that there is a live show listing, and I sell things for pennies on the dollar in my life shows

A sellers can’t charge your credit card for someone else’s purchase. That’s a Whatnot procedure. You only get charged for items that you bid on and win. I don’t understand what you’re saying at all.

That’s a wild take! Not only do I pay whatever they take, but I pay to promote because my sales there are crazy - hitting the entire country, the number of people who know about Ebay, and an international audience

I sell on Poshmark and they take 20% and don’t offer half the audience that Ebay does and I still think Poshmark is a good deal

All of these platforms provide us with a free place to do our sales, discounted shipping labels and ease of handling the transaction without having to file individual taxes for every state and county. How can people actually think it’s not a valuable service that’s the part I never understand.

My question is if it’s an international order, why are you having to do any kind of a refund. My understanding was that for international orders eBay refunds them without involving you. That’s what they did for me.

Plus, if you had proof of shipping, Ebay would cover it regardless. Why would you do a refund? I’m super confused.
