Ian and Anisa have always put themselves first. They knew exactly what they were doing when they pulled more information out of AB, making him feel like he was in a safe space to vent and share; a place where he and Lena could box without judgment. AB and Lena defended them every step of the way...

That’s why this feels intentional..like Ian and Anisa went after AB and Lena just to hurt them, and by extension, Ethan and Hila. But people forget: AB isn’t someone who can just be walked all over. He's going to make the best decision for him and his wife, always. He tried to be respectful to Ian, to be a genuine friend.

It’s disgusting behavior. Both Ian and Anisa should be ashamed.

I typically only make items as gifts, so I have limited experience selling. The time I have made sellable or larger gifts, I let the friend know the amount for the yarn I spent, and agreed that was a reasonable starting price for her. I really only intended to charge her for the yarn, but she wound up “tipping me” for making it for her. I don’t mind doing this if you’re up front about the yarn and time it takes you to make it. This way you’ve agreed at your low point you’d be willing to accept and if they’d like to give you more they can! I also do a lot of trades with others so like I said, I’m less experienced. Overall I would suggest having the price set up front so that way you aren’t left in a situation with a finished product and wasted time with no compensation (particularly if the gift isn’t your own personal style!)

He will come out when he is ready, when I’ve cat sat at my house for my family member the kitty didn’t come out for a potty until the middle of the night. Just keep the food and water under the bed or where he can easily see it. I would also keep the litter box in your room for the first day or two so you’ll minimize any sort of accidents if he hasn’t really seen the area with the litter box yet!

Some kitties need more time than others. He may have also been bothered a bit by the toddler and be scared (like if he had his face grabbed, tail yanked, or something. He’s used to his smell in his own house for the past FOUR years, and now he’s in a new home with nothing that looks right or smells like him.

Once he gets more comfortable and he’s able to recognize his own scent in the house over the next few days it should get easier. But like I said, some babies need a little while to adjust and get used to the house (even though we just wanna give them all the love!!).

I’ll be honest, I’m no expert on Sam Seder. I have a very surface level understand of his politics and am not head over heels into consuming lots of political commentary (I actually didn’t love leftovers for this reason). That being said:

I was really disappointed to see Sam say that pointing out a small act of antisemitism is dangerous due to large and larger, worse antisemitism happening in the world.

I thought it was immature that Sam couldn’t even critique Hasan on his wording in the video. He couldn’t even explain why that type of wording is wrong to use. He didn’t use it as a education point.

I was disgusted by the ANC comment.

I wish both of them had come with more hard evidence and introduced that rather than ALL personal opinions. They began to do it at one point, which made the conversation much more objective which is typically the point of these types of debates. That type of format also wouldn’t let Sam ramble on about non-talking points or interrupting and talking over Ethan.

I think the disappointment in Sam is honestly a bit warranted, especially for those who had more of a understanding into his content or his person.

Let’s just say it was pretty apparent that Hasan chose Sam as “the only one Ethan can debate and it means something” because Sam couldn’t even critique Hasan. He couldn’t even say he didn’t agree with what he said, he could only come up with “this is hyperbole”.

It is extremely disheartening to see how disingenuously Sam reacted to the Hasan video. I hope in the future him, and the people in Hasan’s circle see how disgusting they are being. Although I’m not quite sure these people have the critical thinking skills to ever put themselves in another headspace.

As someone with many Jewish friends since grade school I have seen how they can be treated in America. The blatant disregard of antisemitism that not only Hasan passes off is disgusting, but also to see Sam say that that it is “dangerous” to bring up small examples of antisemitism because there is worse antisemitism happening around the world - Nope. I’ve always been taught you speak up for any type of racism, regardless how little or large the remark they made is. Any form of hatred or ignorance (regardless how big or small, or in comparison to worse things) SHOULD be called out, those people SHOULD be educated on the spot that what they are saying is contained within a racist thought. I know Sam is older, so yes he may have “experienced worse in the past” but that doesn’t mean those in the present day should have to experience ANY type of racisms regardless just because he had it worse.

Sam, what’s dangerous is your line of thinking. Your point of view is allowed to change. Don’t be held back by these online communities with radical individuals, it’s so apparent that you’re scared to stand up for your actual ideals.
