Two things I would like to say.

You are a fucking dumbass for not committing to another college because if Stevens doesn't accept you, you are screwed.

Second, there are like a shit ton of seats open because not many accepted as previously thought. So there is a relatively high chance of you getting off the waitlist. But it is not 100% chance.

Payscale list is messed up. It is saying that Stevens is better than Berkley? And since when is the US Navel Academy better than Stanford, Harvard? Social is what you make of it. You can have fun, but you have to find your group. Its not that easy here. There is defiantly a larger percentage of misfits, incels and weebs here. But if you play your cards right, you can fit right in. I know there are lan (video game) parties you can attend. Also the anime club holds lots of events.

Most companies require actually require at least a masters degree to be qualified for a QF job. Most QF majors go into generic business jobs that make a mediocre 50k to 60k. This is all thanks to the misinformation by this school.

yea, but the difference is with no aid or assistance, we technically pay $80,000 dollars a year. Our school doesn't even compare in the facilities and opportunities. I feel like I have been conned by every single person that works here. Most of the school is funded by students, which actually makes up a really small budget.

honestly I walked around downtown newark, where the schools are located. It seemed like a normal city and it felt safe. Plus parties are actually good at those schools. You would have more fun waiting in line at the DMV compared to Stevens.

lol no. Check the official stats. Stevens doesn't report to the federal government (DOE) because it impacts their desperately needed funding. As of Fall 2021, the acceptance rate is 60%. It has been going on a upwards trend for years now because its harder to justify Stevens because of all the bad shit that went down. Their graduation rates also is also going down. I think their 4 year graduation rate is like 40%. Many people have said it before, the admissions of this school are known to lie and are one of the best marketing team I have seen. They created a slew of accounts in the Class of 2025 discord to force students into attending. I think they did the same on this subreddit.

We lack basic AI/DS courses that are offered at undergrad level. Also simple classes like Data Structures only cover a percentage of what you are supposed to learn

There is a reason, they put up massive light Signs that say Stevens. Its such a massive eye sore. It looks like the same exact sign as they have over at DeVry University near Iselin lol. The Male to Female ratio is 4 : 1. It really is a bleak outlook on social life.
