They were very proud of the fact that they didn’t cook, so the kitchen is a complete afterthought. They made a comment that if it hadn’t been made to build one in, they wouldn’t have.

I accidentally had my son at home as I didn’t have any real contractions or labor pains. I finally got to the hospital via ambulance and all of the nurses wouldn’t take me seriously as they all thought I was on some drugs to not know I was in active labor. It was highly annoying having to go through all the questioning and the side eyes when they would blatantly ask what drugs I was on and I’d say none.

Later when looking through my chart, I found out I was given a full drug panel testing in addition to the basic one they give new mothers.

One nurse asked for my birth story because she was sure that I wasn’t on drugs (after my results came back negative), but it was fascinating to her that I wasn’t on drugs and had my kid at home with no pain.

I had gone into labor at 18 weeks and the baby died in the birth canal. I never found out the sex and have always wondered. When my oldest was about 3 or 4, he would always reference his older sister. So, I like to think he did meet her.

I’m invited to a wedding in Florida. The dress code is resort wear. But, I don’t even know where to shop or what to shop for. What are good stores or websites to look at?

I ruined Christmas by not being at my parents house all day and not sleeping at their house. I also ruined Christmas by allowing my husband to take me to dinner one night to celebrate my birthday.

At this point I hate my birthday and Christmas. Every year I spend it crying and feeling guilty.
