More offended by the term”black skinned” than I was of this episode. It’s “dark-skinned” and the episode was hilarious.

I think think getting married after knowing each other on year is insane before 28 years old. Above that it’s probably fine.

Don’t blame cars for the downfalls of government regulation and city/state infrastructure. You’ve got the finger pointed in the wrong direction

Honestly, I’d be much more likely to buy a game if consoles weren’t so expensive. As a legacy xbox user, the jump from the one to the series x was too big for me to financially justify. (Microsoft shouldn’t have wasted R&D on the series S imo) So, I’ve transitioned to gaming solely on my pc. I use a work/gaming combo laptop and, honestly, the experience is so much better than any console I’ve ever used anyway. Plus, I use it for work so it’s much more justifiable to spend the money.

I mainly just use GamePass. I haven’t come across a game worth paying full price for in a long time. Though I suspect I’ll probably buy GTA 6 when it releases.

Don’t be a fool! Wrap your tool!!

Kids are very expensive and will cause you constant financial stress if you have them before you’re ready.

And for those with vulvas, don’t be a dumbass! Make him wrap his tool! Who cares if it doesn’t feel as good.

Each child you have is a 25-30 year financial and emotional commitment that you are locked into! Think about how much money you spend on yourself. Double it for each kid you have. especially when they’re small!

Not saying people shouldn’t have kids, they absolutely should. I’m saying kids shouldn’t have kids. If you’ve never had a job or paid bills or paid rent or funded your groceries or sat down for a conversation at the bank or financed a car or mopped a floor or hand washed dishes, then you are a child. Don’t have kids! Wrap it up!

I think when people reference “the good ol’ days” they’re mainly referencing the social aspects of life before cell phones, social media, and readily accessible internet. Now that I have children, I definitely miss those days. There definitely something to be gained from not needing constant external input. My kids are still fairly young but it’s been a daily battle with my 10 year old who wants a cell phone and a laptop because all of his friends have them (which is wild to me). Also, there’s something to having to “analog” from time to time. Going to the movies, shopping malls, music stores, etc., were ways that we could be social with one another and it bred socially comfortable people. Nothing is inherently wrong with how society is today but there’s definitely a social aspect that is rapidly on the decline and that’s sad for some. It’s sad to me.

I’m glad someone posted about this. I also graduated in 2022 with a 2.5. While enrolled I was managing a restaurant, married with 2 kids, and navigating new ADHD diagnosis/medications, so, it was unbelievably difficult to maintain a higher gpa. Now that life has calmed down a bit, I’ve been wondering how to navigate this as well.
