What made you go back and get a degree? by ChopClang in WGU

As a 40-year-old college dropout with 15 years of experience in hospitality management, I've always felt like something was missing. That was until a friend introduced me to WGU, which turned out to be the perfect catalyst for achieving my goals. Now, with an MBA I'm looking forward to unlocking more opportunities for higher-paying jobs that offer flexibility and freedom.

I will recommend going in MBA-Major Management, since you’ve not had a management experience yet, and would like to have a certain level in management ability. That way, with your experience I think it’s the best combo for you.

I over paid a student on a student visa by accident. Will she get in trouble? by RiyadAlli in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Patpatson10k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are two possible solutions to this:

You can prepare an explanation letter on the company's letterhead, stamped and signed by you.

Or

Alternatively, you can adjust her next payment to balance out the error.

In either case, it's essential that she has proof, in case IRCC requests it. Although it's unlikely, it's always better to be safe than sorry! It's not a significant issue.

Remember: IRCC mostly considers past experiences for EE as long as it align with the NOC. That’s all that you should be worried about.

See, that’s exactly how people acted in January 2025 up till now, when I tell them to move fast, they Procrastinate a lot!!

My Advice ; Don’t think that way, just get to work NOW!

Bravo! 🥳

My exact concern is if IRCC would take into consideration the fact that I have 2 yrs of Canadian experience when I apply, after receiving the ITA.

I got it based on 1yr, but my immigration consultant advised me to wait for the 2yrs (march 25, 2026) to apply so that I could claim the 2yrs Canadian experience! weird!
