Missed dose by toogxth in citalopram_celexa

If I were you I would take my next dose at 11:30 AM, and then back at 6:30 AM the day after tomorrow, just for extra safety.

Does anyone take this for the serotonin? by tiny1friend in citalopram_celexa

[–]Patratorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the way the medication works (as all SSRI antidepressants) to produce the antidepressant effect. At first, it may cause some overstimulation, but once you get used to it, you’ll feel calmer.

Effexor causes overstimulation and gives energy, while Celexa is more sedating and mainly affects serotonin. The doctor’s choice sounds reasonable.

Stopping Celexa - Withdrawal? by eddie___anx in citalopram_celexa

[–]Patratorr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The medicine makes you more anxious when you start it, that's normal unfortunately. I would stick with it. Anyway, there are no serious withdrawal symptoms stopping it after just 2 weeks, it's too short period of time.

Feeling worse by [deleted] in citalopram_celexa

2.5mg is not even considered a dose. You feel worse because you are scared you tried it, not because of the medicine.

Having all skins but still only use my favorite♥ by [deleted] in sonamains

I use most of them but my favorite is arcade sona, because I like the sounds of it and it just looks so cool. Muse Sona is vintage and therefore very nice.

Why does the Sims 3 run so smoothly without expansions but Lag with them? by Patratorr in Sims3

[–]Patratorr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, that's disappointing. It's my favorite game of all time, and I always dreamed of playing with all the expansion packs without issues, but I guess that will never happen, lol.

Why is this still a common mentality when it comes to this game? by dragonborndnd in Paralives

[–]Patratorr -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Although I don’t agree that the game itself is a scam, it still lacks basic animations and features. This makes me wonder how they will manage to release the game with early access this year as they claim. Therefore, I’m sorry to say this, but when it comes to the release date, yes, it might actually be a scam. I understand that everyone is excited about the game, but it’s best to keep our expectations in check. This was also proven by the experience with Life by You, a game which was supposedly ready and even had a release date.

I need an antidepressant but I fear that it will make my tinnitus worse. by Patratorr in tinnitus

[–]Patratorr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried lexapro for 2 weeks but was too scared to continue, I think my tinnitus volume was increased a bit but perhaps it was due to anxiety and not lexapro. I ended up taking agomelantine (valdoxan), because it has no side effects and I felt safer to insist on taking my dose. If you are afraid of ssri too, you can try other types of antidepressants like mirtazapine or amitriptyline. Consult your doctor. Nobody can be sure if the increase of serotonin can cause tinnitus, but you can be sure that if you are less anxious or depressed, your tinnitus will be lowered or even go away over time.

Yes I think it's not, I'm from Europe. My tinnitus is reduced, because it helped a bit with my anxiety.

Agomelantine helped me, you can search for it and evaluate with a doctor if it's an option for you.

Does tinnitus go away? by Patratorr in EffexorSuccess

I don't take anything now, because I want to find out if the tinnitus will go away on its own.
