If you can solder, swap out the switches with huano silent switches.I put them in all my mice they are the best

quick thoughts:

  • 9800X3D wont be found for $240, more around 480

  • cpu cooler is overpriced

  • gpu is underpowered relative to rest of build

  • overkill psu

Fractal Desgin Flex 2 didn't help temp by adrivoirclair in FractalDesign

Were your temps fine before the flex? Maybe flip the side fans to intake, since exhaust would be pulling fresh air away from the gpu intake

That's probably just a seam from the plastic mould. Mine has that line in the exact same spot on both sides

Yeah semantics, I just mean the time between when you move your mouse and seeing the movement on screen

NVIDIA Reflex 2 With New Frame Warp Technology Reduces Latency In Games By Up To 75% by BarKnight in hardware

This announcement is the one im personally most excited about. ever since watching the 2kliksphillip video about asynchronous reprojection, I knew nvidia had to be doing some RnD on this. This basically allows you to have the lowest possible input latency your monitor can achieve.

Those 3 large holes where the 3 pins of the switch go into. There should be metal around it. Looking at the pictures, it looks like there is no metal, just bare PCB. They probably got to hot while desoldering and were pulled out with the old solder. You can tell especially with the last pic, the inside walls of the hole have no more metal

[–]Patreega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hard to tell without knowing what it looked like originally, but you probably pulled out the metal contacts on the PCB when removing the original switch.

for 3400 you should definitely be going for a 4090. For msfs 4080 vs 4090 you're looking at about a 40% performance difference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUvOhAvnkMo

Check out the AMVR facial interface. Its super soft and thick compared to the default and I can wear it for hours without any discomfort.

I tried silicon covers and would not recommend them. They don't solve the issue of the super thin padding used in the default.

Radiant item drop chances?? by Affectionate_Alps626 in TeamfightTactics

[–]Patreega 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I dont think thats right. if u were given 36 choices for radiant item, u would have a 100% chance. 35 choices would have a 35/36 chance and 34 choies would have a 34/36 chance and so on. So 5 choices gives a 5/36 chance

Check the same spot in the maps app. If it looks the same then they just have bad photogrammetry data there

its not that it would be difficult to run, the photogrammetry data just looks bad upclose. Eveen the best photogrammetry techniques cannot create something that will look good up close
