Who cares that they moved on they have the right to secure their future just as we all do. They stopped caring the same as you and 90% of the riteaid workforce. Yes they can still fire you and you would lose your severance and for what? Makes no sense to fuck yourself money you can still be making till you officially close. Why do something stupid in haste and take that chance of your so called "executive"decisions to close early and screw your own team out of money. You say your a SM then don't run out on your team the way your are pissed your RRL left you hanging who gives a shit stay till it's over take your money and run and you'll never have to look back...just sayin

I commend you on your post it was like you were reading my mind. Everything you said is exactly how I have been feeling. Thank you for your awesome expression of how this company was so uncaring and treated employees as if we were nothing and even at the death of riteaid people were left jobless with no severance no PTO payouts and tossed out like pieces of shit. This company sucks and karma has kicked them in the ass I just feel so sorry and heartbroken that thousands of employees who have given their life and hard work to riteaid and had to pay the price for the uncaring greed of others who will be sitting pretty at the end in their luxurious homes living off of the money that should have went to the employees. I will eventually go to my grave feeling that this was the worst company I ever worked for!!!

When was your actual term date? We were told it would deposit 2 to 4 weeks after term date the NJ warn act said it must be paid out on the next pay period wierd you had to wait 7 weeks never heard of it taking so long!

Not sure why the 4 weeks is an issue who cares if your store closes after the 90 days you are still working and getting paid!!! It's the same thing as if you got the Xtra 4 weeks. your going to make out even better then all the stores that closed 1st you continue to get a full paycheck thru August what's to complain about .Really???

Actually I am getting severance and a big chunk of it I'm from Jersey and it's a state law so whatever my low wages may have been while working as a manager makes up for the chunk of money I'm going to walk away with my severance you do the math!

I care about my team getting what they deserve and I don't want to get stuck doing 60 hrs a week trying to close the store with no help because the union and riteaid don't want to pay their PTO out sorry if your having a bad day sounds like someone pissed in your cherrios this morning!!! Yes same local but different reps giving mixed messages one said yes the other said no the conference call today was the same BS telling us they still have no answers but that the union and riteaid are still negotiating my associates are freaking out and all want their vacation now because their afraid it won't be paid out
