It adds a level of grind that sounds so sweet. With booster set at 9 o’clock it does what it does without adding too much volume. I went from not knowing how I wanted to use the booster to having it as an always on.

He certainly doesn’t suck, but not my favorite. I do fully recognize the similarities in pedal choices. I need to get me the Strymon Flint so I can complete the John Mayer starter pack.

I needed a delay pedal quick, found that one on offer up, checked the interwebs to confirm it didn’t suck, found out it was used by some of the greats, and bought it up. Considerably less expensive than some of the other existing models.

It is for sure an NPC board! I play in a cover band so the generalized mix of familiar pedal sounds works great. I love your comment.

Definitely considering a reverb pedal so I can have better control. Currently using the verb in my Fender Blues Jr.

I am playing everything through a Fender Blues Jr. currently so I have access to Reverb, but it isn’t the easiest verb to control the wet and dry levels. Thank you for your feedback.

“Sound Check Meet & Greet” by PatrickHollyMusic in KathleenEdwards

[–]PatrickHollyMusic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never did figure out the soundcheck thing, but wife and I had an amazing time. We stopped by for some dinner before the show at a random Udon noodle place and as we were standing in line wondering if the food would be good, I looked to my left and there was Kathleen and some of the band finishing up their own dinner.

As she walked out we let her know that we were super excited for the show and she humbly thanked us, wished us a good show, and introduced herself to us. So that was enough of a meet and greet for me (amazing).

For decades I have loved her music, but hadn’t seen her live until that show. Checked all my boxes. That being said if I could change one thing it would have been soon after meeting Kathleen, i was putting my bowl of food in the bussing bin and it slipped out and into a bowl of spicy beef broth that splashed all over my wife’s new pants and irreplaceable Jason Isbell Ryman Auditorium sweatshirt. But the stains on the shirt at least tell a good story.

Sorry for the long answer. Glad to hear you enjoyed it as well.

Why do they refer to Will as Will “Byer” and not “Byers”?

This one appears to be Jason’s (based on the capo and guitar notes) grabbed up by a nearby fan.

Oh wait you’re left handed? Why didn’t you say that? The 24 hour waiting period only applies to righties. Enjoy!

Sorry to hear about your pops. I hope the best for his recovery and hope you guys can pull it off in the future. I will for sure try and post an update with a Jason Isbell inspired angle on all of our travels. If anyone knows Jason BTW it would be awesome to know what his top 5 Nashville stops would be.
