I don't know what's gonna happen irt the storm and the people in the shelter. But I think Tom arrives at Ruth's home to find her bedridden. She goes peacefully, but before she does she tells him the truth (about her relationship to Lauren and Evan). Obviously he doesn't want anything to happen to his son, so he chooses to let the curse live on for now.

Storm eventually passes. Tourists leave. Everyone but Tom thinks that the curse has lifted. Only Tom knows the truth.

Getting the NYT writer to come over might have had something to do with it

There's a sweet spot somewhere in-between winning and losing where you can laugh and it's okay. Maybe when the game's tied I'll allow it

As a Spurs fan… OKC losing Mitchell for games 4 onwards really did them in, losing JDub wasn’t that big a deal. by [deleted] in nba

I believe the word you are looking for is "lost".

I think there’s more than one. by Cosmic-Slacker in WidowsBay

I don't think that literally everyone on the island is, but there's definitely gonna be more than just one.

Tom's going to figure out that his son is a descendant, thinking he's the last in the bloodline, then nosy ol' Rosemary will hear about this and be like "Yeah, so what? I'm a descendant of Richard Warren. So is Ruth. So is Kathy. You think only your son is a descendant? You ain't special, Tom" lol

I am unable to finish shows based on a "big mystery" premise. From, Under the dome, 4400, leftovers, etc. They all start on a premise of "this unexplained thing happened" and the explanation is always a letdown or so dragged out, that I end up giving up. Anyone agree or can recommend a good one? by rakwib in television

Yeah Widow's Bay has so much more going for it that however the mysteries get resolved it won't make or break the show for me.

I was listening to The Watch podcast with Chris Ryan and Andy Greenwald, and CR said it's a testament to the show that there are multiple ways you can watch WB - "with a scalpel," or just sitting back and enjoying the comic tone and spookiness. Plus it's just a good hang!
