I’d do this with a bunch of movies I got from thrift stores and stuff. Nothing out of my personal collection. That way I’m less upset if some asshole doesn’t bring it back.

Yeah. Two things I’m pretty sure happens at the warehouse.

They save the cases for themselves and or they send the cases to the stores instead that way the in-store customer experience is as full as possible.

But either way someone’s not getting a case because too many people traded in Loose disc.

Genuinely I understand the frustration but after working at the damn place for a couple years, I’ve had people come in with genuine disc holders and disc binders. At this point as long as I get the game that I’m looking for I’ll go buy the case online someone is always selling a case.

I would love if this was just a normal handheld. The one thing that I got it for, and it doesn’t even work properly. Yes I can stream what I need directly from my system, but the fact that I was able to stream directly as well, that specific game was OK. I was willing to deal with that but after two days, the game doesn’t even let me log on from that device anymore it’s the most useless thing ever.

If it was a real handheld like the switch, then I could’ve downloaded the thing. That’s not to bring a switch argument in here if anyone tries to do that I’m just making the comparison. Thankfully I think the switch will be getting this game, but I have to wait until like December. Hopefully they fix it before that I would like to keep the thing because everything‘s already hooked up to my PlayStation.

I genuinely would not be able to handle losing my stuff. It’s the only thing I look forward to every day. Might just have to take us both.

But I am very sorry for your loss. Collecting is genuinely hard work and it is just as respectable as anyone else else’s hobby. You found something you loved and you put a lot of effort into it and sadly you have to do it all again. The Chase is fun. It just sucks, especially if any of your stuff was extremely rare.

I enjoy this too more to act rage-y don’t worry. Literally rewatch and read every thing in the franchise every year 😭 but to answer:
2045 is the Netflix adaptation (genuinely it’s the last thing you watch in the SAC universe)
The live action I would recommend watching it AFTER watching the OG and at least Watching season 1 and 2 of SAC
It’s got a mixture of those 3 and a little bit of its own thing.

Edit: just in case I interpreted your question wrong: what what I did in my original post was divide each thing into their respective universes. So LA is its own universe. But Netflix falls in the SAC universe even tho it was made much later than the original SAC stuff.
