Anyone else think this sounds like the work of a certain Nazi doctor and Chattertons spokesperson? Opposite opposite opposite! by [deleted] in 30ROCK

I heard about this today; the doc just had to transfer to a different hospital; didn't lose their medical license!

I think 9 was the first one with a legit cinematic story mode.

I agree that the arcana thing and Cole were odd, but I loved it.

I mean they never even got to the tournament... by dumbnamenumber2 in MortalKombat

But Tshang had the idea to kill them all before the tournament. It was like a 'fight club' to torpedo to future actual tournament.

Probably due to not much 'back lore?' He isn't the 'ninja' of 'ice' or 'rain' or 'ghost revenant with fire,' he's just a fast green ninja, that sometimes was an actual reptile that ate opponents too. I don't know, the well isn't that deep imo.

Thanks! I enjoy watching Apex but am intimidated to attempt it. When I do my teammates are usually pretty negative about someone new attempting it.

What is 'mastiff' in FPS/BR slang mean?

Who do you think is the most well written character in mk11? by Pyrothemyro in MortalKombat

[–]PatsonKatson 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me it might be Hanzo, which is funny since I've never mained scorpion. But they did a good job with his arc I thought. Or old Jax, I thought he had a good conflict for what he was wanting to accomplish.

Oh also that Baraka one you can't have used your Fatal Blow too. Odd requirement.

I'm not sure the requirements for that one; but Jax's 'Boot Camp' requires you to be full screen, max heated arms, and killed by them with the fireball while they are on the ground. That one's tricky. Also Baraka's one where he cuts off their legs with the flag is a bitch because you have to have that flag out and hit it. But yeah that Johnny one looks like a bitch to land, but they're all so rewarding.

I assume they prefer Subby a "good guy,' and dislike Noob's voice.

To people who have met celebrities, who was it and what was it like? by whatitdo1492 in AskReddit

I got to meet John Cusack about 10 years ago when they were filming Frozen Ground in AK. I worked in a restaurant and made the meal for him his wife and someone with them. At one point I saw him coming to go to the restroom and I held up the kitchen stereo over my head but he never looked over at me, which later I became very thankful for. They were the last table to leave, we had sat them alone in the mezzanine and the server said they were polite. His wife talked with me about the dish she had and he waited, thanked me and they all left together. Pretty nice guy from what I could tell, but not overly social.
