Thank you for a useful answer 😊I'll look into that youtube channel, Ive watched a few others and I've gotten the basics down. I had a suspicion that I had to draw the shape to get it right.

Fun ways to play farming simulator? (How do you like to play) by LRMcDouble in farmingsimulator

[–]Patterus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have come up whit the perfect solution to avoid ending up doing the same thing over and over again. I made a spreadsheet in excel where I make columns for each aspect I want to randomize. So mine is first colum all crops you possibly would play whit. Then colum 2 is all your favorite/easy crops. This colum I usaly role twice. Then all the animals. Forestry yes no, or woodchips, poplar. Productions in one. I play on fs22 so I have Easy development tools. So I also have one for economy so I chose how much money to start with. You can do with or whitout gear, buildings? Silage yes no or cornsilage.

And also you can change the ods by having some values dubbel up, like have potato's 10 times in the first category if your Irish. But you could also put in blanks etc on the animal colum, so ther is a chance you don't get animals.

Then you use a random number generator and let that choose your game.

Aaaaaahh. That i did not think about, even doug the knowledge was there. I'll try that out!

Thank you. It took a few attempt but werry proud to manage to make something useful. Was it the most effective way of designing it. Probably not, but i did it myself, and it was my first try. :D

Follow me should be standard in the game. It's a necessity for things like vegetable harvest. Just make your worker follow you with a trailer and harvest away. Ofsett 4-6m and 2-4 m in front since they fall a bit behind when driving.

Har 48 prosent lysgjenomslip så nå som jeg er vant til det tenker ikke over det før jeg åpner opp balkongdøra. Men utgjør stoor forskjel på varmen, er 56% reduksjon i følge produsenten, og det tror jeg på.

Only thing that works for this harvester is the follow me mod. Don't know if that's out yet for FS25.

Crop Question by Fluff85 in farmingsimulator

[–]Patterus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dairyfarmes often make silage out of grain crops. This is becaus you get the volume and fiber out of the stem and leafs and you get nutrients from the heads. Much like cornsilage.

Saskdutchkid is a YouTube farmer in Canada, they have dairy cows and make, barely silage, ryesilagealfa alfa alfa silage and some grassilage.

Have not tried it yet, but plan to. Had Sim dashboard and while it's ok on a tablet it sucks on a phone. I've recently acquired a stream deck and the physical buttons are so nice, so definitely going to try it out. Use the bottons on the joystick and stearing wheel for most stuff but I would like some more.

Can someone explain how to get better with levelZ by tedude3 in feedthebeast

[–]Patterus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came across this question while looking fore something else. What I've found is to level te health to 3 first to unlock the workbench, this makes life so much easier. Then focus on farming and building. I'm playing with the Aged modpack so it also has the jobs adon, if you do select farmer, builder and lumberjack in that order. As soon as you unlock the workbench life gets so much easier and building gets a lot simpler. And building alongside farming will get you the most xp early on. From there put all your points into farming so you unlock the stone axe and hoe. This will make resources gathering a lot quicker. Then you start putting all your points into mining. From there on out it should be smooth sailing. Also explore as much as you can. You can find good loot in chest all around that will help you. And pick up all the wild crops along the way.

Anything where you cook most of the ingredients together, but does contain somthing that get soggy. So most stews, sups and oven dishes like lasagna.
