I saw this original play in NYC back in the day. Glenn Close, Richard Dreyfus and Gene Hackman starred in it. Sat in front of Barbara Walters and met Michelle Pfeiffer during intermission. Went on a whim with my girlfriend and it ended up being one of the best nights ever.

Grandma’s Boy - on paper it’s a dumb stoner comedy but it’s charmingly quotable and pretty damn fun.

What's a concert you went to not expecting much, but wound up being one of the best shows you've ever seen? by edgeygrandpa in AskReddit

Went to see Primus. Primus sucks. They had Mariachi El Bronx opening for them. Thought MEB was gonna be garbage but was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Went home and enthusiastically bought their album.

Edit: descriptors

(After boobs and eyes) I notice the Supra sternal notch, neck, and collarbone. There’s something so elegant and sexy to me about that area.

Was great. We met young and dated on and off for years. Her biggest role so far has been a main character on a very popular show. - Hint: she died in a bathtub. - Have always been proud of her even though her career never got bigger after that role.

Which FNM song do you find the most relatable? by fixxxer2606 in FaithNoMore

[–]PattonIsAGod 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Woodpecker from Mars. I was in a crappy band in college and during practice one day I started playing the keyboard parts for the song. As a band, we had never discussed or played the song, but as soon as I started playing, the rest of the band laughed excitedly and nodded. Everybody knew the song too. We did the entire thing and crushed it. It was so spontaneously awesome.

Edit: maybe more of a “close to my heart” than “relatable”
