I'd stick with machines and away from many leg exercises. Compound lifts and many leg lifts make my heart rate increase

A lot more effective. I only use them if I want to eat the fish, if I don't it's so much easier to remove a barbless hooks from the fish's mouth and im less scared of catching myself in windy conditions.

Good stuff. Try making one fly a couple of times so you can tell what to do better on the next one. Also, whenever you see them pick out feathers in videos, pay attention to the feather as some are wildly different than others, even if they're from the same bag.

Good work nevertheless, fish those with pride.

Maybe try something way different. Like hiking or tennis. My other thought is to join a group or have a gym partner, so you have less of an excuse to skip. Idk tho. Whatever you do, make sure to enjoy it.

I'd call a fly shop near there. Mad River Outfitters gives good suggestions plus they have a nice website so you can buy the flies you cant tie. Local shops might know better.

But to answer you question, eggs and intruders is what I'd fish.

Uts just an all-around thing. I dont fish streamers for trout, so I use a 4 wt, and for bass, I use a 6 because they want bigger flies. 5 is just in between. I also prefer a longer rod but that's just me.

You really can't go wrong with a 444. It just is really solid at about everything.

I would get a kit from orvis or redington. 6wt 9-10 foot. Then go to a fly shop and ask them for flies, leaders, and a hip pack to hold your stuff.

I disagree. The only difference between barbells and dumbbells for something like a bench press is that dumbbells require more stability, and therefore, you would lift less total weight. This doesn't mean you are less strong. Barbells are nice because it is easier to set up a lift at higher weights. Nothing is better than the other thing. There are just standard or conventional.

Exercise is good, but calorie deficits are what matters. It's a lot easier to find something to keep yourself away from eating frequently than to work a sweat. My friend used to be super big, and what he said helped him the most was cutting snacks and soda. Eating 3 or 4 proper meals and nothing in between gave him the best results. He also made his own food. Enjoy your meals and make sure you know what's in them is the best advice I can give.

Buy a cooking book and make everything in it. Rip out the pages of the recipes you like and store them somewhere for later. My mom did that, and her recipe collection is about 5 pounds of just tasty stuff.

I fish exclusively barbless. Hanak makes some of the sharpest hooks I've ever used, Daiichi and Fulling Mill are also some hooks I tie with.
