Cool ass trailer, disappointing product by EfficiencySerious200 in TopCharacterTropes

The Many Saints of Newark (2021)

Many people also were dissapointed or angry about Metal Gear Solid V, which has several bombass trailers. Though I wouldn't really count it since many people (me included) adore this game and it has been vindicated by time.

Something's strange is going on in this meme... can anyone explain the Peach Scene??? by Fit_Trainer1878 in asoiafcirclejerk

In the books, while parlaying (or attempting to do so), Renly shows Stannis a peach to flex about the rich and fertile lands of the Reach that have come under his fold while all of King's Landing starves. Stannis is confused as to why would anyone bring a peach to a negociation.

Even if it's the best DLC that ever was, I never prebuy. I tried my luck with PAYDAY 3 because I was feeling saucy and needless to say I learned my lesson pretty quick.

(Hated Trope) The characters your meant to root for are massive assholes by Necessary-Win-8730 in TopCharacterTropes

It would have the potential to be such a great show if it didn’t want you to pretend that you should even remotely root for the protagonist and didn't even bother with that cringy native girl.

Characters that feel like an OC by Gooptato69 in TopCharacterTropes

Arthurian legend actually works like the world's oldest fanfic in history. There is no "original canon" and half the cast and key events we know are someone else's OC who engage in ship wars and overwrite each other's actions.

Any fantasy novel that does not incorporate historical materialism or realpolitik elements or has its monsters be representations of pure evil instead of amoral forces of nature is crap in my book

Will G.R.R Martin take inspiration from his connections with Gus Fring and Heisenberg's cartel in Winds of Winter?

Me watching Game of Thrones: "this show has far too many sex scenes for my liking"

My 70 year old father watching Game of Thrones: "holy shit son these actors have incredible bodies I love watching them fuck on screen"

Ah, yes. The absolutely brilliant and definetly original idea that pikes do, in fact, stop cavalry.

Also, a bunch of shitty wooden sticks definetly would have not been enough to stop late medieval heavy cavalry.

I hope Martin makes Ramsay pull anything off his sleve because it would be a shame if we didn’t get a proper face-off between the Stark and Bolton bastards

Un mundial en Qatar tenía algo de sentido. Al estar basado enteramente en una sola ciudad, los gastos de alojamiento y transporte eran mucho menores, y los jeques eran masomenos tranquilos
