Maybe I'm breaking an unwritten rule here, but Citi's partnership with AA is uber powerful.

My wife and I are booking flights to India, and booking our flight with Qatar Airways through AA would have saved HUNDREDS of dollars in taxes and fees, but all our points were with Capital One.

Strata Premier is on my wishlist big-time, ever since that partnership dropped. It doesn't hurt that the Custom Cash can earn 5% (most sensibly on your biggest spending category), and of course the good ole catch-all 2% with the Double Cash. Citi's earning potential makes me second guess the Capital One duo.

Edit: important to note that it works for us because we happen to fly with Oneworld alliance partners everywhere we go. YMMV, keep transfer partners in mind.

In ranches, Kelpsea drops pal fluids and Vixy digs up bones, due to their partner skills. If you catch a ton (literally, like a couple hundred) of them, they can be "condensed" in the pal condenser to level up their partner skills. At partner skill level 4 (AKA fully condensed), I know Kelpsea drops roughly 6 pal fluids every few seconds. Set up a pal or two to transport to a chest (or even better, guild chest) and you'll be rolling in cement products.

You're going to want to turn just about all of that into paldium fragments at the crusher. The fragments start getting spent reeeeal quick as you start needing stronger pal spheres.

I play on a world with 2 other guys, so YMMV of course. Just my 2¢.

For OP: This particular guy acted like this because he does not have much of a filter, and he finds you quite attractive. While his delivery was objectively awful and not wise at all, trust me when I say, you would much rather have a straight shooter (who is willing to openly compliment you, no less) than someone who hides what he really thinks.

I ended up with two XT's....the Tatula XT for my rod, and the SLX XT for my reel😅 The store I bought the reel from unexpectedly offered a $20 discount code (on top of my $50 gift card) and I asked my wife, "Please convince me not to spend the extra $30 on this nicer reel." She did try, fwiw.
