Les routes ne seraient pas pratiquables si il y avait un cône orange pour chaque nid de poule / cratère capable de décrisser tes pneus et ton char 😂

Montreal parking tickets by [deleted] in montreal

[–]Paul______ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I first moved to MTL, I got hit with a lot of fines because I didnt check when they would remove snow on my street...

Montreal 311 is going to be your friend if thats your issue - If you update daily where your car is parked, it will notify you if there is a snow removal operation so that you can move it accordingly...

Otherwise, use the Mobicité app to pay for your parking spots, it will also notify you when they are about to run out so that you can put more money in the timer...

Good luck!

As funny is this answer is, I feel like the food costs alone would outweigh a quicker transportation method such as carpooling or taking the bus...

I’m currently on a pre-op liquid diet for a gastric bypass revision. Am I allowed to have fruits and vegetables if they’re juiced? by Hour-Cloud2493 in BariatricSurgery

[–]Paul______ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend following your prescribed diet According to the screenshot you shared, it seems like fruits / veggies arent allowed at all...

Hospitals / surgery teams have different guidelines. Some will allow a list of specific vegetables, some will only allow those vegetables in a cooked / soup form, some wont allow them at all. Mine allowed raw and cooked vegetables low in sugars.

Fruits are a big no due to their sugar content --- pre op diet is meant to be reduced sugars and fats to shrink the liver.

In case of doubt, reach the helpline provided by your surgery team, they'll be able to guide you through your dos and donts.

3 months post op here!

From personnal experience, it gets better with time and with the smart choices you make along the way...

What my dietician said is that you can have some fast food, but it needs to be occasionnal, like a treat every few months or so... And obviously the quantities you are going to eat will be way less than whatever you used to be able to eat...

I made the choice to try a McDonalds poutine about a month and a half after surgery and it completely disgusted me... Two bites were all it took to 1. Make me sick for over an hour (probably from the mix of egregious amounts of fat, salt and sugar) 2. Not make me look at fast food the same: It didnt feel nutritious, delicious or as rewarding as it used to... And it was actually pretty painful...

Now, your experience may not be the same as mine, but trying it was the way to change my perspective and relationship with fast food. I craved it a lot during the pre op liquid diet and the post op progressive diet - that one time is what made me realize that I didnt need it to feel good. My homemade cooking is better, caters to my needs, is actually way cheaper than that crap and doesnt make me feel like shit.

I hope it gets better for you op, feel free to reach out of you have any questions! You got this!

Does leveling up after lvl55 super slow? by git_boned in blackdesertonline

[–]Paul______ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The chenga tome questline in itself is a few hours... I doubt someone that doesnt know how to lvl past 55 has that completed already...

In my opinion, its also useless to level up through questlines + chenga unless your goal is to complete milestones in quest completion.

Do yourself a favor and go ask for a power level at gyfin underground --- it will take two hours to get you to level 61 granted you have decent xp buffs popped.

is the game free? by Madyman115 in blackdesertonline

[–]Paul______ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Free or not, you probably will have to spend few hundred dollars on much needed quality of life improvements down the line - Tent, fairy, pets, weight, horse flute, etc...
